SHIP DESCRIPTION
The DP-21 Strike Fighter is a space-superiority interceptor developed by Lindan Engineering and commissioned by the United Colonies Navy during the height of the Colony War. Designed for rapid deployment from capital ships and carriers, DP-21s were primarily tasked with intercepting and eliminating enemy attack craft, providing a defensive screen while larger UC warships engaged Freestar frigates in direct combat. Their effectiveness in this role earned them a reputation as one of the key assets in the UC’s early dominance of the space theater, ultimately pressuring the Freestar Collective to expand and modernize its starfighter forces—a move that contributed to their decisive turnaround at the Battle of Cheyenne.
Following the war’s conclusion and the gradual drawdown of large-scale naval operations, many DP-21s were reassigned to planetary defense units operated by local security forces such as Titan Security and the Gagarin Strike Corps. However, the relative inexperience of these organizations made them vulnerable targets. Battle-hardened pirates—many of whom were veterans of the Colony War—began hijacking these fighters, repurposing them for criminal operations. As a result, the DP-21 has become a common sight among Crimson Fleet squadrons and other well-equipped raider factions.
One such vessel, Furia, serves as the personal starfighter of Crimson Fleet enforcer Bran Kelso, a prominent member of Delgado’s inner circle. Acquired shortly after the war in 2312, the Furia has since become Kelso’s home away from the Key. While preserving the core strengths of the DP-21, Kelso has outfitted the ship with a deadly array of upgrades. Its standard Mauler 105L Autocannons have been retrofitted with mag-accelerated bolt relays and kinetic recyclers, increasing their fire rate to nearly twenty times the original. The stock concussion missile bays have been replaced with T-65 Proton Torpedo launchers, giving the Furia the firepower to tear through Class C corvettes. The Mark I Spectral Lasers have been swapped for FS Ion Pulse Cannons, delivering sustained energy strikes ideal for disabling shields and subsystems. A state-of-the-art J-Type cooling system enhances both reactor output and Grav Drive performance, while twin Incom-X Scan Jammers dramatically reduce Kelso’s sensor footprint, allowing him to bypass most planetary security checks undetected. And if stealth fails, the Furia’s overwhelming arsenal ensures Kelso can shoot his way out—and leave nothing standing.

Hey Lindan, just saw your “The Resurgence UC Battle Cruiser” video and got this idea… IDK If you take requests but I have this ship idea in my mind but not the “blueprints” for it and its like a mothership of sorts like the Uc Vigilance but not the same scale obviously (maybe Little Brother lol) but I got this In my head while playing the new Watchtower creation mod and there’s the orbital airstrike attachment for ships and id like for the mothership to be my flag ship because you can have other ships (your fleet) follow you in the watchtower mod and give me some cover on the ground with airstrikes and such
but this ship would have very little to no ladders just stairs or elevators, a brig for prisoners, roughly 50m length 40-45m width also 2-4 habs tall
and uses the achievement friendly guidelines (that’s the big one for me) and honestly if you could somehow make it a smaller look a-like “The Resurgence UC Battle Cruiser” with these requirements that’d be fine

@High_Key If you add the Fleet Commander Mod by korodic, you can have a fleet of these ships escorting your command ship. You can also add the Cloaking Shield Equipment mod By keithvsmith to give them cloaking ability.
Wait when is the fuel tank added?
Dude, you should make a mod with all your ships included that are on vendors and used by NPCs in the game, similar to the Community Spaceship Expansion mod!

Lindan you are the best and despite my obsession with large ships I absolutely love this one. I can’t wait to try and build it but the second you said it was going to be an easy build I just knew at some point you were going to stop and say, “Ok, for this next part I need you to go get a PhD in theoretical physics.” (big sigh) If anyone ever asked me why Starfield is still a thing I would say it’s because of people like you. If you ever meet Todd tell him he owes you a beer or beverage of your choosing.

Loving the energy of this one. Your ships are always packing some kind of firepower, but this one has strong “John Wick, muscle car” vibes.
It reminds me of a line from Legacy of the Force, Bloodlines: “It makes the point without a shot needing to be fired.”
The Furia’s pilot might not like what the Varangian Guard did to an old Lindan Freelancer III, working with a member of the Ebon Guard they turned it from a warbeast to The Pale Horse. using Darkstar, the “Archangel weapons” mod and the Matilija star yard, 4 c-class repeater MAC cannons, 2 Darkstar Obliterator missile batteries, and paired Archangel particle lances.
but yeah this build is sweet, a bit closer to the Jedi fighters from EP III RotS than the Fury class interceptor in overall looks but still awesome. hope one day you do a Darkstar Astro or Darkstar TGO build, a crazy powered Starborn/ Ebon Guard ship.

I wonder how this’d look just one habsize extended. Maybe add one of Mattel’s solo habs? Use a couple of the one hab mods, add a brig, crew quarters and you’d have a neat bounty hunter / system patrol craft.
