This is the first time I’m seeing this mod, and it looks amazing! I got about 80 hours into Starfield before I just got bored and frankly annoyed at the NPCs reactions to your choices (for real, I’ve never been more pissed at a video game character lol), but this would totally make me reinstall the game. Love the idea of a proper open world game in the Star Wars universe, and you look to be doing an amazing job on it!

Just an idea here, what if you added a tag to NPCs based on what type of planet the NPCs are spawning on. They get Barren, Rocky, Gas Giants, and Ice planets tags on Barren, Rocky, Gas Giants, and Ice planets. Each type of tag will have an array of clothing to choose from. It doesn’t make sense to have someone on a desert planet wearing clean corpo clothing, maybe dirty or dusty types would be better! Love all the hard work y’all are doing, it looks amazing!

I see a great future for this game when this mod gets developed further, maybe it would be a good idea to create a donation link, so people can support the development team and lessen the amount of work by hiring volunteers.

I really enjoyed the current ported mods from Genesis to next Gen consoles like Xbox. I hope there’s more support to port more mods from Genesis into consoles later on, if it means to be patient and wait since it’s all on mod authors free time to port it. I would really pay or donate to help bring more content from Genesis onto consoles, I really like the Genesis project on PC.

I effing love this mod! installed 8.2 this past weekend. my only and i mean only peeve right now is that it’s still too dark. probably my fault, verified my brightness (2.62) and my contrast (.90) were in line with your suggestion and there are places that are brighter now. However, coruscant (specifically the spaceport level) is still dark. but man, i gotta say, and i know somebody’s gonna be like “bullshit!”, but this is the best star wars game i’ver ever played. every session feels like my own private Mandalorian/Andor episode. F’ckin unbelievable! Great Job!

This project just in concept is absolutely phenomenal and the way that you have been able to absolutely just realize it and make it feel like it’s own true Star Wars RPG like we’ve always wanted is nothing short of amazing I’ve been following the project since it first started getting traction and the Improvement since then have just been stunning

I love the mod, I feel like two big points that need to be worked on is Base Building and Combat. Watching several NPCs getting mowed down with a single blaster shot isn’t exactly entertaining and makes weapons like automatic guns/gatling feel unnecessary except for if you like the look and sound of it. Even if basic enemies took 2 shots instead of 1 to kill it would feel a bit better. I get the whole idea of realism and you’re not the hero but you can get strong based on the armor and equipment you find but even a starting weapon being able to 1 shot enemies doesn’t feel very immersive, I imagine even civies could survive a blaster round or three depending where they are hit.

To preserve the nature of the mod though you could have 2 difficulties at new game creation (standard and challenging) Standard can be the way it is now and challenging could be the combat damage overhaul. I just really wish weapons meant more in the game than they do atm as they all more or less function as an cosmetic reflection of which weapon look the player likes the most rather than each weapon type meeting a specific playstyle and being utilized as such with minor tweaks between the different variations in that category.

Absolutely incredible work! I’m so blown away! I’m streaming on twitch any chance I get in the hopes that just one new person finds out about this masterpiece.

You know, a nemesis type system would make this great. Some of the enemies escape, one of them will keep hounding you until they die, and with every escape they get, they get stronger.

Just a suggestion here but if you add lightsabers you should totally add lightsaber forms with discernable combos with parrying, sabre locks, and counters!!!! Maybe even mix the forms together as you advance your training to make hyrid stances/styles!!!!!!

Having grown up with Star Wars as my favorite franchise but losing hope in it over the last few years. From trying to add my own role play to BF when I was younger and doing every variation of KOTOR playthrough, and unfortunately not learning about Galaxies until long after its prime. Some of your Aurebesh is backwards, though. At the very beginning ‘imperial research’ is actually backwards, like we’re looking at it from the wrong side. After that the word ‘greblav’ is either backwards as well or just the letters are backwards. I don’t know if it’s meant to be ‘valberg’, but I suspect that might be the case since I see ‘valberg’ later on at 16:25.

A lot of it is correct as well, so I’m not sure if it’s intentional. Jedi: Survivor, for example does this where they put the words mirrored, flipped around, and upside down in places. I guess to make it seem like there’s more variety than there is.

Almost no one would notice, but I have my browser running in Aurebesh on my computer, so I see it all the time.

If they can throw out the original story and put in a cool starfield bounty hunter or multi-origin-story story, then I’d be very impressed and SOLD!
Swapping out the graphics however isn’t enough for me, I just don’t like the SF storyline (many side quests etc were fine however)

The effort put into this project is admirable.
Personally I prefer the vanilla Starfield universe. It’s just more adult than the Star Wars universe and far closer to the real world future. But it looks like this project is soon getting more successful than the original game (which unfortunately received a lot of baseless and often irrational hate).

Frankly, I would never play Starfield without your mods again. You, and several other models have made a mediocre experience into a near-daily enjoyment.

This is the only thing that will bring me back to this game.. unless someone makes a 40k mod. I can see an Imperium Maledictum or Dark Heresy style rpg in this engine easily.

I hope you keep working on it, I haven’t tried it yet because Starfield at it’s core isn’t a great game… but damn, if you can rework some gameplay issue, and rewrite those terrible and boring quest and character, I might actually be convince to jump back in lol (And lore accuracy is important to me so I’m glad you try to make it lore accurate instead of having random bandits with clone trooper armor with pink lightsaber lol)

Would LOVE classic blast bolts and fast bolt speeds! I feel like the shorter faster blaster bolts would help the impact feel better as opposed to the longer stringy type blaster fx if that makes sense.

I understand that there are many aspects to your mods, so please don’t think I am being critical or rushing, as I love what you are doing and can’t wait to dive in some day. I am curious though, as you have not shown any footage of ship interiors or pilot seating. At this point in the updates are there interiors for the Falcon or Royal Star Ship, or Star Destroyers as well as the Tie Fighters and other one man fighters?

Absolutely epic and I don’t even like Star Wars very much (40k ftw) but I’ve tried Genesis and am super pumped for what you’re doing and looking forward to playing more.

While I tend to dislike anything related to Disney Star Wars I like Star Wars Genesis because it has more of its own story and it has some stuff from the EU (aka Legends) also I have wanted there to be a singleplayer star wars RPG for a long time now.

I have a Question. When starfield first came out, players were forced to go Newgame+ because the game’s memory couldn’t handle the data if the player went to every plent in the game. Was that fixed in a vanilla update, or were you able to find solution?

The people working on Star Wars Genesis have done more work on Starfield in a year, than the Bethesda devs did in all the time they worked on the game. There is literally no need for microsoft to keep Bethesda around at this point, its clear the studio has lost all of its talent and its not going to make good games anymore. At this point just waiting for Elder Scrolls VI as a foundation for an actual good RPG that will be made by fans.

Incredible is an understatement. I tend to stick vanilla with BGS games in general, especially on consoles, but for my PC, I will specifically purchase the Steam version of Starfield just for this.
