
Starfield 2025 – Some space combat and captures while testing
1) Tested the ship vendor, that was broken after adding new landing pads.
2) Tested the new class c’s capability, class A and B were tested earlier; but that surfaced the ship vendor was broken so I stopped to fix that.
3) Discovered the class C that hasn’t been moved yet is now occupied by NPC security, this happens to pirate faction ships that have been captured. It is considered pirate faction due to the pirate faction EM inhibitors and shield buffer equipment pieces, I think.
4) Flew the Class A and B away because I wanted to test them and only have the class C at the hight platform location as the A and B were planned to be at different locations; but I also want to find out of they will respawn since they are set to respawn.
5) Confirmed the shield regen is fast and weapons seem more powerful as a result of the extra pirate equipment.
6) Attempted to add new locations for placing the ships and items; but the CK would not generate the terrain clips correctly, only saw water and no terrain so I am guessing I hit some sort of limit, which seems odd if so as I only have 4 permanent POI locations. Maybe due to a medium size master file. Generating a new master as large I don’t know how to do that at the moment. Doesn’t matter, kind of getting tired of the endless puzzles the CK gives me when I just want using it to be easy and simple. Should be working in Blender instead anyway.
Now I will contemplate how to deliver “cookie-crumbs” to a new character to go look for these locations and equipment. Might get lazy and just test a new character without creating any actual quest giver passing clues.
