I mean it makes sense and for me at least it only seems like too much on starfield. Elder Scrolls if it loads when I go into a dungeon or a city it seems more normal and less noticeable
They dont need a loading screen for every door opened. From what i saw its an unnecessary amount of loading screens. Most other games hide them when they can. Not that an elevator ride isnt obvious and boring.
If i owend Bethesda i would banned loading screen this kills the immersion of loading screen it defeats the purpose of open world experience

That’s exactly the point I always make. The reason other games can go with loading screens is because they’re smaller with way less content. Even open world games like Cyherpunk or RDR can get away with ot because they simply dont have as many side quests, or NPCs, or interior cells.
Starfield as a fane requires loading screens, and even with them, they last about 4 seconds max, and that’s only when loading in bigger areas or distant planets.
