havent finished starfield, think i might get back into it, just had way too many games in my lineup
I like this game but why humanety is alone in the universe? Bug fix ?
I just started playing a month ago so still enjoying the game. It’s a fun world to play in.
And Bethesda’s “fixes” broke quick save. I had corrupt saves for the two days I’ve tried to play for the first time since the game came out. Bethesda is so incompetent.
Why does Bethesda only fix rare issues? 😂
I can travel anywhere but new Atlantis, crashes every time, haven’t downloaded any mods lately just started happening.
Why am I not surprised it adds literally nothing we were begging for but adds things to make them money pathetic waste of money
6:20 Graphics resolutions… 16×9 is the “widescreen” that is now considered standard. Any resolution that starts with a 32x is “ultra-widescreen” or “dual-monitor” sized. Any resolution that starts with a 21x is just weird, why the fork are you even using that?
I’m looking forward to the Xbox Game Showcase and I hope to see a big update with more new ships, environments, mini missions and of course a DLC about the Starborns. I play Starfield to this day and I’m in love with the game and a huge fan!
I hope that’s not all. I read all the updates and I don’t see a lot fixes for a lot of the BS still happening. How about fixing sound problems with creations. Or the fact that you have to go through a wild process just to update your mods.
I don’t know. It fixed the STUTTER! Pretty big to me.
So, this is good to hear, more Bugs squashed. Does the ‘Bundling’ refer to smaller mods (like weapon skins) being turned into an Omnibus Edition, or a packaging option to get say all the ‘Usefull’ mods at approximately 15% off?
7:23 Yes, really Phil Hill that admin looking guy with starborn powers who manages to teleport to every major bar you’re thinking of visiting and then turn it into a portable office. I won’t be surprised if he becomes a villain in future content. Perhaps that’s why they are giving his content attention in this patch. Thanks for the update (it’s good to no they are still breathing in the studio, lol. ) and I found it reassuring that your thoughts are this could hopefully be a prelude to something more substantial. I think even smaller updates can disrupt script extender mods for a short while I could be wrong but that has been the case in the past with some mods. So I would prefer a big update to many little ones though. Didn’t notice anything about a creations menu UI bugfix there or perhaps the wording was not what I expected. Surely that has been known about for a while and would be a priority fix., I am lucky I can get most of my mods on the nexus but even some I never installed with creations constantly nag for an update that isn’t required in most cases.
I’ll keep an ear open for what they add when porting the game to new systems. Still, I can’t shake the feeling that even if they release a DLC alongside the new version that it’ll be on the small side.
I would like to see a VATS system in Starfield.

That being said, What Im also hoping is I Hope the said “Bigger” update will not only include bugs fixes, but also more content and new features such as
Able to Independtly customize ships with your own design
Able to Build Class M Ships (It was a scrapped content but hopefully it will make its return) I like a galactic very large ship
Mechs!
NPC and AI Overhaul make them more lively atleast being able to react with your actions and consequences
Stealth Kills and Takedown Animations
Overhaul and make social skills easier to use like in FALLOUT 4 especially the manipulate and Diplomacy skill you should have aim your weapon ratger than always using the scanner.
LESSER LOADING SCREENS Like Make Space Travelling with Ships also more immersive if still not possible, make atleast some tricks or designs how to hide loading screems while still being immersed.
(And for the Love of… If Fallout 4 can handle Elevators with no loading black screen why not also make it possible with Starfield?)
For DLCS
Alien Races and have us also to engage in a Spac3 combat fighting large creatures on Space or Alien Ship very extraterrestrial in design.
I quit due to stuttering. I could not figure out how to install nexus mod script extender and its related requirements (super unclear for old people like me – we need a step by step vid with no jargon). anyway, i’ll fire the game up to see if these bugs fixed the game. 7800xt amd 5800 ssd multiple fresh installs creations on/off/deleted – stutter and freeze every 25 seconds doesnt go away.
Appears some of my issues may have been fixed, but at this time, I am busy enjoying Oblivion Remastered.

Thanks for the update Crimson. I have to say…6 months of radio silence for an update like this is somewhat disappointing. The one thing that I’m happy about…or really just relieved about is that BGS is still working on this game as I was starting to believe that this year’s DLC would be the only content/update we get. This game still needs some fleshing out for its gameplay mechanics and features. Despite this being my main game since release, these days I spend 90% of my time ship building, rather than playing.

This update is definitely a nod to switch 2 and ps5 update for sure which may mean switch 2 launch title
Was hoping there would be improvements made to remove mods from your Library so they no longer show in game in Creations.
On Xbox is the mod update issue going to be fixed? It’s irritating when you update it’s still in the update menu even though it’s updated

Thanks for the video and thoughts. Makes sense. More weapons. Fire arms and laser rifles. New faction based on zone79 spacer overhaul that also affects their living quarters and structural parts. Think reavers from thee film Serenity.
Been on all day. No lag with scanner
I’m playing Starfield right now, and as long as I can play without having quests for ryujin and freestar getting bugged/soft locked so I can’t complete them or they can’t proceed & issues with specific ships not loading and bugging out I’ll be thrilled. Not having console commands on console to force a quest step to proceed is demoralizing.
With bundles, does that mean console could get its own version of Star Wars Genesis?
For starters, yes i am most definitely still playing starfield. Absolutely love the game. Im super excited for your theory. Honestly the best news have heard in like what 8 months🤷🏻♂ but i think your theory is pretty solid. I can’t wait to see what comes, but im really happy to see performance issues being fixed. Thats my main thing is getting performance issues fixed. I don’t need tons of content. I just want to get to run the game smoothly with good performance. The game is already amazing honestly. Ive just about been playing since release (think i got it like a month after release do to certain problems going on at the time), but i play it just about every day and ive done new game+ several times and even started new characters. At one point the game got really messed up (i think it was a goof on my part), but even then i just deleted the files&mods and just restarted fresh and i still love it.
Just came home to see this…NICE!…@ least we have a little something…moving in the right direction…and if it REALLY fixes the micro-stuttering ppl have been experiencing that would be very cool…👍

Hate to be that guy, but seven months and no content update. I’m glad that bugs are being squashed but I fully admit that this patch is a pretty big letdown for me.
I’m now of the opinion that the next content update will be the next DLC. I’ve also given up on an official ship parts update. Yeah.

The icon support is for custom weapon icons, but the way they did it will not break Ammo HUD at all, I spent the morning figuring out how to do it and am writing up a tutorial and template interface file for mod authors to use. I will also be changing Ammo HUD for version 4+ so that I can utilize this new method and integrate with mod authors who decide to use it since having the ammo information on the HUD is still not possible natively. It will still require patches but it should make the patches a LOT smaller and less invasive as it will only have to override a keyword instead of a whole weapon form.
I’m suffering from Starfield starvation, so this is a God send!
And they still haven’t addressed and fixed the ECS Constant not leaving Paradiso’s orbit bug. 😢
When I saw update I was excited.
If Bethesda’s updates are going to mainly be bug fixes, six months between each is way too long. I understand every time they push a bigger update all the modders have to update their mods in turn and it creates some upheaval for those of us who us a ton of mods, so they probably try not to do so very often. But many of the bugs they’re fixing in this patch should have been addressed a long time ago. Surely some of them could have been released earlier without breaking everyone’s mods? Anyway, I plan to play as much as possible until the update is released for the main game and then I’ll probably just not play it for a couple weeks until the modders can catch up. Much respect to the modding community, you guys are real troopers!
what i need are faction quests fixed that bugs out. i just jump into unity and hope RNG helps. there should be mods that help skip this once finished into unity. (xbox)

Some places where you land it would put your ship like 500m away from you. Now if this happens, the vehicle is still with you.

Bethesda, I still love you and I still love Starfield, but this is absurd. As nice as bug fixes like these are, I want actual content. After this much time had gone by post-FO4 release, all of its DLC was out. I understand they want Starfield to have a much longer shelf life in comparison, but it’s not going to have that longevity we all hope for if its player base just keeps getting strung along at a snail’s pace like it feels like we are
I actually gave up on updates. Bought a gaming PC to get off buggy Xbox. Was planning on this at some point anyway. I’ll wait for the next update. Don’t want to hose my game for the few fixes this brings. Nice to know they’re still working on it, though!

Now if they can optimize the game to run better with mods that would be a godsend. I’m still having problems landing in major cities because of heavily modded ships.

Gotta admit, I’m more than a little salty that the Community Patch team are throwing in the towel. I should’ve just stuck with the Unofficial Patch after all. You may hate Arthmoor, but he’s at least consistent and dedicated to his work.
Rather underwelming give the wait but I suspect BGS is saving the big stuff for a PS5 port and/or expansion.
Pointless update that I will probably skip. It would need SFSE and other mods to be updated too. They fixed stuff that I have never even encountered in over 3,000 hours of playing. Other more prominent bugs (e.g. the weapon workbench bug) remain unfixed. But at least it means that the Starfield developer team is still alive. And that’s something positive. So I think it’s good news.
Perhaps it can now run on Steam Deck with very low
I must now download the Doom mod before the patch hits so that I can destroy a ship with a sword.
& yeah fixing the scanner FPS killer is a big 🥇 win
