I can’t remember the name of the mod that sets the 3rd person view of your ship further back, but StarUI AIO doesn’t play nicely with it. Tried different load orders, no difference.
Can You do a Review on paid TGS Galactic harvest
Can you please do a review on the paid Darkstar mod that just come out for Starfield?
HUD and Inventory are a must have. I don’t run any of the others anymore. Crafting and Ship Builder are just way too laggy.
My recommendation if you want to use this UI for future Reviews; Have it enabled at the start, and then IF you run into UI issues, disable StarUI and see if that was the culprit.
My Brother in space. Script extender is SFSE, or just SE for short, SKK is something entirely different. Shame though cuz the mod for PC has been broken for forever and a half(no idea if it ever was fixed), and doesn’t have an All -in-One.
I play on Series X. Like a lot of us, I used PRAXIS and liked it but since it’s been abandoned I thought I’d give STARUI a go and I originally downloaded the AIO. Like CFB, I found the ship builder uncomfortable so I switched and went with the individual mods sans the ship builder instead and it’s been great. There’s a bit of a learning curve but you get used to it pretty quickly and it has a lot to offer imo. In any event, I’m glad that PC only mods are finally making their way to creations and Xbox. I agree that more controller support would be awesome – perhaps that happens in the future…🤞
Funny how this mod hasnt been updated to work with current PC version but somehow gets a release for consoles…
Hey there my friend. The most important mod that goes with all this is StarUI Configurator. That tool allows you to completely redo your UI and it’s been slept on this entire time. The mod author doesn’t get nearly enough kudo’s and endorsements for his work. I will post a pic on my account so you can see what the potential of the mod really is. Good video and keep up the love for the game my friend!
The default menu looks miles better lmao
It looks great, but when I installed it, and tried to transfer items back to my container, I could easily do so, so I deleted the mod and went back to Vanilla.
Literally a MUST have mod
I’m kind of liking the outpost sorting. Does anyone know how well this works with other mods that add items? Like, for instance, SPE ship habs and Wicked Workshop Outpost mods. Or Ship Builder Categories?
I’m one of those on console that wanted StarUI real bad. But as pretty as it is, it feels like it was made for mouse and keyboard, as you mentioned. Went back to Praxis for its simplicity. Catch a smile out there. o7
Coffee time. Arrrrgh, information overload. Thanks for the review, great video. Looks a bit complicated for my taste.
Ship builder – it is the mod. I play on PC with controller and it does the same thing. (The load thing where it populates everything before you can go forward.). My biggest the issue with the Ship builder UI is that it covers so much of the screen.
First @Crimson, thanks for the review! Your review has convinced me to add the Outpost version of the UI family. I’ve been using the Star UI system for awhile. Since I use a TON of ship mods (AvonTech, Matilija, etc) it gets really slow (on PC) when loading ‘Structural’ parts, but even with that aside, the ability to sort the parts gets me to the parts really quick.
Maybe with this review, @m8r98a4f2 might consider an update?
I appreciate that your reviews require it to be available on both xbox and pc, however I think you may have some misconceptions about the Starfield Script Extender (SFSE). So you referred to it as the “SKK” multiple times which is weird/confusing because SKK is a verified mod author with a bunch of mods on both pc and xbox (his mods are excellent and I think you even reviewed one). The vast majority of mods on nexus (including StarUI) do not require SFSE, nexus has roughly 10k mods, of those 10k maybe two to three hundred require SFSE. The majority of the mods which require SFSE are character presets and ship blueprints (that’s not to say there aren’t other mods that use the SFSE for other things). At the end of the day, none of this is super relevant to you since you only review mods available on both platforms.
I would love for you to have like a documented set of about 50 mods loaded when you test. Commonly used mods. Testing in a vacuum can only be so revealing. Run through clean and modded. Knowing conflicts is the main thing to learn. Just a suggestion. I appreciate you and what you do. Godspeed.
Does this mod change the language to English, no matter what?
The mod doesn’t need the script extender on Nexus
Yeah, I found the shipbuilder and workbench frustrating on my potato PC, sometimes it was as high as 3 mins before it got to 100%… Totally unplayable at that time. Went back to vanilla and an excel spreadsheet for all the data and used compact mods instead. The other StarUI mods in the series are a mainstay of my playthru.
ill give this mod a go later today ho you need to check out the new atlantis mod looks amazing
I went back to Praxis UI, it was just too much.
I have been utilizing StarUI via Nexus for the longest time. Love it. Highly recommend it and if your on PC StarUI configurator is highly recommended to go with it.
First to comment. Great mod. I have an issue with the loading in the workbench as well.
I enjoyed using all the Star UI Mods except the shipbuilder one it felt to obstructive to use when building complicated ship builds.
Is One of the best mod i think, sure One of most used.i kike It.
