Wow! 😮. This is going to mean total overhaul of some of my ships, especially my bounty hunter ship. My solo explorer would benefit from these. The Deimos Io seems bigger than I thought 🤔. A lift? Wow, I may actually use Deimos cockpits for once 😂. Thanks for the video
The Nexus mod page specifies that the mirrors require another mod in order to work,
it’s not a glitch, you are just missing the other mod required. if you have it they function as enhance appearance changers,

At 7:01 that NPC just standing around in that loft bed space. If Starfield is anything like Fallout 4, the NPC’s cant use buttons unless its triggered by quest. If they also didnt navmesh the loft bedroom floor, NPC’s wont spawn there and cant use the button to get to it. So its like player only space. Would explain why the npc just kind of stood there. Clever.
The “glitch” where the doors are not working and leaving the plug in. I think you might have “Place Doors Yourself” installed. That mod don’t touch the vanilla cockpits so they work without placing a door. I just got in game and checked. I had to go back to the ship builder to place a door to get to the Matel mod cockpit door to work.

On some of these I had to use PDY to get doors to show up. 🤷♂️
That door is definitely a glitch. Its on my ships also. Crew members r doing the same. I’ve unassigned mine and they’re still hanging around.
Mattell also makes a mod “Mattells Ladderless docking and loading bay hatches”, which is currently only on Nexus, that removes the ladders for the ship interior side of bays and dockers. It’s a much nicer experience in these cockpits in particular, but I use it for everything.
