    Is it possible to make a mod where you can walk outside of your ship in space and just sight see the planets? If so they should consider adding that in if Bethesda’s engineering is capable of that. If they can add that in, imagine you can have space battles like that as well. Then if they added more interesting things in outer space you can adventure out with your spacesuit.

    I’d like to see full sized ships as decorater Items in outposts. Also crashed ships for outposts. I’d also like to see better selection of npc’s and jobs you can assign citizens of your outposts to.

    I want the best companion we cant have (without mods). That being romanceable Estelle Vincent obviously. Shes just amusing to me and like a more fun Andreja.

    I only really want two things:
    1. Atmospheric spaceship flight
    2. Ability to trigger loading screen to the closest neighbor biome (map) from the ground when you are at the edge of the map

    But I doubt we’ll ever see those features being implemented to the game. I don’t think the engine will be able to handle them, unfortunately..

    Great video with great ideas. 2 things I will mention. 1 BGS should add something to the player’s status screen to show bonuses from collected skill magazines. I feel this was an oversight because Fallout 4 did this but Starfield does not. 2 Vasco should have a proper companion quest. I have heard the comparison that Vasco is like the Dogmeat of Starfield which is true to an extent but unlike Dogmeat he can talk and I wasted ridiculous time searching for the facility he mentions he was recovered from and reactivated.

    My list.
    1. Add cures (bandages, heal paste, etc) to the status screen.
    2. Add a way to share character models in Enhance!
    3. A way to craft weapon/suit quality to advanced.
    4. Revisit skills to improve the useless ones.
    5. More POIs

    They need to add better rpg elements. The skills you maxed out ruins the builds at a early game. Removing the fast travel for more immersion. Better commands for followers. Having more followers. Having more robotic followers. Better weapons for dedicated builds like tanks, dps, or anything between with futuristic weapons for those builds. And having weapons that are meant for each faction. Such as UC using compact weapons instead of allied weapons that is build for UC faction. But I almost never see allied weapons at UC.

    I want a proper LIST quest system where we can attract people to come and live at our outposts like Fallout 4. I think LIST was a missed opportunity to do this. Find habitable planets, set up outposts, recruit people who want to sign up with LIST, to live and colonize different planets.

    Fleet Commander as an official feature is absolutely welcome along with crew assignment via UI. Unfortunately UI is poorly documented and conflict prone, best implemented by Bethesda. Automatron-level robot editing, riot shields, akimbo pistols, mechs, 1st party JET (not boost) packs, class M building, station building, player being boarded, player being captured via non-lethal, rotate habs (as opposed to needing to have more variants), hab preview in editor, share ship “seeds”, NPC backup system, vehicle dealership as opposed to buy 1 vehicle = buy all, boats, flying vehicle, shuttle from ship in orbit… I could go on. Hopefully Bethesda adds at least some of these.

    I MOSTLY OF ALL WISH THEY WILL ADD ALIENS RACE TO BEGIN WITH, WE DONT HAVE TO PLAY THESE ALIEN RACE BUT TO SHOW THEM IN THE GAME AND IN STORY QUEST ETC. AND I AM SURE THAT THE GAME WILL GET MORE HIGHER RATING. TIRED OF SEEING HUMANS ALL THE TIME IN SPACE GAME AND STORIES AND THIS GAME IS ONE OF THEM SADLY.

    I would love the ability to swap around vehicles depending on the geography of the planet you land on. Maybe a switch you could place in your cockpit or in your operations or control center.

    I love the Fleet Control terminal. Large Fleet battles whose outcome is dependent on multiple ships. A means of commanding the individual ships would be awesome as well . This would give incentive to capture and maintain multiple ships. I think this would be a game changer. Fleet ops against Class “M” ships.

    So, I don’t really have a big wishlist for future Starfield content. There are three things I’d like, though:

    1. More stuff to do in space with your ship – In my opinion, all the scenarios that have you doing stuff in space in your ship are some of the funnest moments in the game. I just wish there was more to do in space besides radiant questing, random encounters, going to starstations, and quest-specific stuff. One big disappointment I had with Shattered Space was that outside of the beginning with The Oracle, there are no other quests that have you doing stuff in Va’ruun space. Starfield is a space exploration game, and systems such as shipbuilding really make traversing space in your custom ship feel really engaging. We just need more scenarios that involve space travel.

    2. More hubs. This will most likely be a given with the next expansion. One thing I liked about Starfield is that compared to Fallout 4, there are A LOT more hubs to go to. You got the major towns/cities, you have the staryards, you have establishments such as The Red Mile and Paradiso. I can tell from playing that BGS were really trying to make Starfield a “cozy” game where there was a lot of activities to do and places to go to. We just need more of it, I feel.

    3. A way to save your ship and character designs. It annoys me that BGS hasn’t implemented something like this for the release. I dick around in the CK a lot, and it wouldn’t be that hard to design and implement.

    Now, I gotta dispute you a bit with the hirable crewmates. There’s actually quite a bit going on with a lot of them. It’s just that they’re not at the same level of interaction as the main Constellation companions (Romance options and in-depth questlines). Despite that, in some ways, I actually prefer them to the main Constellation squad. A lot of them have more nuance in terms of characterization and arcs. But that’s subjective. I will say, though, that most of the crewmates DO have their own little quests, and some WILL give you random gifts. For the quests, they only occur through dialogue, and they’re not on the scale of a Constellation companion quest where you go to new locations. And to be fair, you don’t even get much of anything outside of maybe some XP and a unique miscellaneous item. As for gifts, some of the companions will give you random stuff after you talk to them once and travel with them for a bit. Jessamine Griffin, for example, will literally gift you credits on occasion. I was even surprised some moments at the level of depth some of these crewmates have. During one random encounter with that one ship pilot who tells you puns, Andromeda Kepler was in my ship, and she actually said something while the ship and I were in conversation. I don’t know if the other crewmates have moments like that, but I gotta say that was a pleasant surprise for me. You do get the opportunities to bond with a lot of the crewmates in the game, but you have to make an active effort to talk to them in dialogue after some time traveling with them. For example, you can help pay to get Betty Howser’s ship fixed after talking to her about it. If you do, you get a nice moment where she updates you on her ship and talks about her personal life a bit more. Similar deal with Sahima from Shattered Space. You talk to her for a while, and she’ll eventually bond with you and give you a unique item.

    Now, as to why the crewmates don’t have the same interactivity as the main Constellation crew, I have a few theories:

    1. In terms of game development, having every crewmate be on the depth as the Constellation followers would take up a ton of time, resources, and budget. They would have to account for them reacting to the PC’s various quest choices, romance interactions, and probably stuff involving The Unity/NG+. If they were to even consider doing something like that, they probably would’ve scrapped the entire crewmate system and had there be a select number of interactive companions like FO4. I’m assuming they felt this direction was the most balanced approach that would satisfy most players.

    2. I get the vibe that they put a ton of effort into the main Constellation crew and wanted to put them in the forefront of the game. They have unique outfits, their own questlines, they comment on many of the player’s decisions in quests, they can be romanced, etc. And then there’s the big roles they play in the main story and The Unity/NG+. Like I said with my first point, implementing all that stuff takes a ton of time, money, and resources. So, I’m assuming they wanted at least the Constellation crew to really stand out in terms of interactions because they play a big part in the main story and will play a role in the expansions.

    I thought that Bethesda should have added something like the “Legendary Module Recycler” mod Crimson reviewed last July. Something where when you reach level four of “Special Projects”
    you could transfer an effect from one piece of gear or weapon to another. I mean, it should be that difficult.

    It would be cool if you add a “computer core” to your ship it would add a database of all the planets, animals, and plants that you have scanned. It’s sad that you have to write it all down yourself so you can find things again in case you forget.

    Ii agree but on Simeon you missed that, after some times, he eventually tell you that his weapon testing story is a lie and that he is a a spy for Aegis whose cover was blown and has to lay low

    A small thing but would greatly improved the menu: Sustenence tab. Why food/drinks and aid items are in the same tanb is beyond me.

    You should try “Dynamic Universe” by Youngneil. It’s a game changer. Makes the game way more challenging.

    This is not only what I want to see, but imo what SHOULD be in the game:
    1. Spacewalking
    2. Mechs
    3. A full Tracker’s Alliance questline, hopping off from where the Starjacker mission left off.
    4. Constructible robots (basically Automatron but for Starfield)

    I’d want tameable creatures also, but Xeno Master honestly has that covered, and in such a comprehensive fashion that Bethesda wouldn’t do.

    Jessamine and Mathis are by far my favorite two to run with, Jess has a really cool backstory she introduces you to and I’d really love it if Bethesda went more in depth with her. In general I’d really love it if more morally gray characters were added that have more depth and were also able to be romanced, as someone who loves playing a pirate all the constellation members end up hating my character so I’m never able to experience that. Overall Jess is bae and we are ride or die in every play though lol

    Outposts – Complete re-organization. As it stands outposts are useful for only initial game start to get some creds and easy XP which is highly overpowered. In less than 2 hours of gameplay from a fresh start no combat no console commands etc you can go from level 1 no credits to level 50+ and a multi millionaire. Thats awesome and bad at the same time. What makes it worse than bad is outside of personal RP reasons there is no reason to ever do anything else with outposts. I now have the green and gold mod so my NG+ runs can bypass the earning money time sink so the only reason I even have an outpost? To give Heller and Lin a place to stay because I feel like a jerk if I dont add them to crew and they arent useful on the ship. So I make a outpost on Nessi and let them chil on a nice planet. We need better tools to organize outposts and supply chain systems as well as tool to have our crew at the outposts repair equipment because…… why am I employing an outpost engineer if they cant manage the repair of a drilling rig?

    1. Ship Parts – Not only do I want more structural pieces, I want more bridges/cockpits, more bays, more engines, and more weapons. I also want Taiyo and Stroud to have style makeovers. Taiyo, in particular should basically be Ryujin corporate offices in space. They can even keep the HopeTech-like Habs as part of Taiyo Industrial.

    On the structural end, more circular, “tube,” and dome parts.

    2. Cybernetics and Cybernetic Research – We can collect all sorts of contraband items like Harvested Organs and Mech parts. It would be really nice to use those to research cybernetic augments. Think Engineering from Elite: Dangerous.

    It would take a lot of work to rebuild character models with distinct limbs, but it would instantly make the game better. Might be a source of powers without being Starborn.

    3. Places of Interest – Both space and planetary. For space, more structures and more salvageable derelicts.

    4. Colonization – The present Outpost system seems to be near directly lifted from Fallout 76’s CAMP system. The only problem is that your buddy isn’t going to visit your cam…er outpost. Just being back Fallout 4 Settlements with a Starfield twist. Instead of a beacon, you hire advertisement space from SSNN and can even see/hear your advertisement as you pass a kiosk.

    5. Space City/Cities – Probably the hardest to implement, we need a Neon-sized space City and 1-3 Gagarin Landing-sized space Towns. This can be a long-term project, as the amount of work going into creating something of the sort would be hard.

    Honorable Mention – a complete gutting and rewrite of the Skill/Perk system. I know that Bethesda wanted to appeal to more hardcore RPG systems, but this really is not the way. I don’t think that this would ever actually happen, but Starfield would be so much better without the clunky skills system that it has now.

    Honorable Mention #2 – Mech suits. Basically a cross between power armor and mechs.

    Concerning companions, I wish BSG gave us 9 companions, with each corresponding to an alignment such as lawful neutral etc. I know it’s not in BGS’s nature to use systems developed by other RPG companies, but it seems widely used enough. Each companion could have a specific background and motivation that would be demonstrated via quests. Each would also react to the player based on affinities with the other members.

    I understand the above is unrealistic, but maybe some move toward it, such as additional constellation members with personal quests, or maybe additional quests for established members, or even turning Vladimir or Noel into companion members would be nice and perhaps realistic.

    A nexus mod worth checking out is A.C.T. Autonomic Challenge Training. It eliminates needing skill points, eliminating the skill point minigame. Instead you level your skills through completing the associated challenges. Some skills require you to unlock prerequisites, e.g. can’t unlock chemistry without knowing medicine. You just play, naturally unlocking skills by using those skills instead of leveling and dumping skill points. I like the idea that you can’t just become a combat master by leveling crafting.

    so one thing id love to see which was in fallout 76…….the ability to blueprint outpost stuff, like i love to build working setlements but making homes with decor takes FOR EVER and doing it 4 or 5 times sucks sooo having the ability to blue print the hab and then basically just copy and paste would be nice (it was in fallout 76)

    There is just so much to develop when it comes to Biology, I still remember searching in books for Mass Effect’s leftright protein chemistry and being amazed by the atention to detail from the devs back in the day.

    Starfield lacks this, there should be an extensive quest-line where you should catalog the different fauna and flora and get at least basic info as you said, plus let us know basic chemistry and ecology and geo-dispersion.

    I want an advanced shipbuilding option in the settings that the enables the extra snap points, flipping all parts, including not just 90 degree orientation, but 30,45,60 degrees as well?
    And, of course, merging settings, PDY, and really want the Graf, Stroud Premium, and a few others.

    Smarter spacesuit Auto-hide. That name was or mod was made by Deebz. Unfortunately he’s no longer actively working on mods for starfield. But basically what it does is hide your spacesuit in sealed ships including home ship, on breathable planets for example new Atlantis. This should have been in the game. Why wear a spacesuit in your home ship while your companions are not. You can check the mod out because there’s more of what it says.

    proficiency based skills and powers would be a nice change(who the hell wants to redo a galaxy 10 times, reaquiring enough money to rebuild a ship you cant blueprint/template and pews to finish the last area)

    Better world experience.
    Just went back to the gta games, they way the crowd reacts to everything is so much better and really gives you the feeling at beeing in that world.
    We should not have to rely on mods for brigs, doctors and better suit settings.
    Why do my companions wear their clothes at certain locations and planets but I have to wear my suit ???.

    Change the clutter system, too much random clutter generated at poi’s and random locations with crates and loot you do not do anything with.
    I am not going over to 2 silo’s 700m away just to check the 1 crate.
    Remove the bloody they/them, how retarded are you hahahaha

    All your ships at your base like horizon mod letting at least 4 of your ships dock and you can chose the ship your going to use

    More fully fledged companions for sure. I’ve done all the Constipation quests for achievements, but Andreja is the only one I bother with. I would love saving a ship blueprint. I don’t build unique ships often, but I have 2 favorites I steal and adjust. I would love to have a transmog in the game, even just a basic color change for gear. Probably 1/3 of my mods are just that, and I’m guilty of not using decent weapons because I think they look dumb. I know BGS loves monetizing skins *cough horse armor*, but it would be nice.

    I would like to see cargo staying on the ship it is added too, and not move when you change your home ship. It would make more sense of having ships with large amounts of cargo for outpost building and smaller cargo in warships.

    Make Cora a companion. I found a nice hostile and inferno planet on the far reaches of the settled systems where she can mine resources. She can have Starborn armor and a big outpost with all the luxuries and books she can read. Fully protected by robots and tourets. She just needs to get the hell off my ship 😂

    Atmospheric flight w/planet circumnavigation. Not necessarily seamless in/out, but I really want flight put into my game that taps into the magic of spaceflight.

    Mechs. Give them their own builder. Make a special docker just for them to act as a voiced copilot/additional weapon in flight. Then make them retrievable on the surface for exploration/combat. They could have wheel, track, or propulsion drives. Then, I want a mech war.

    Give us a reason to visit all the “extra” systems. Large visible cosmic events, maybe I collect some ring dust from a gas giant, maybe I visit an asteroid on a collision trajectory and move it, etc.

    More melee movesets that also tie in with assault boost pack skill.

    Radio stations. Not just for music but also mission triggers and info.

    Kill cams.

    I know it’s wishful thinking, but I’ve got enough time surfing the blackest sea to know where the game needs some love. Not by modders, but by Bethesda and with the base game. Catch a smile out there. o7

    My top 3:
    EVA’s (And activities to do, like floating outside a station and killing enemies, sneaking onto ships, exploring a giant hollow asteroid, etc)
    Underwater stuff (for all of the same reasons as EVA’s, but also including finding/fighting xenos)
    Space Station integration (including setting them up as outpost HUBs that your outpost ships can send resources to)

    One thing I would like to see is Remote Outpost Management.
    What I find difficult is remembering where outposts are, what they are producing and what trade links are established.
    It would be really nice to have an overview of these, so if I need a resource I can quickly look at the overview and find where I am producing it.

    Did you ever see why they didn’t add atmospheric landing? I would like to see my ship enter and exit orbit instead of everybody else’s ships do so.
    I would enjoy Space races, Star Wars KOTOR was an excellent RPG with less graphics and a lesser budget I guess. Starfield reminds me of MOTOR.

    Honestly, the load screens in elevators kill me. Even fallout 4 had you ride the elevator to hide the load screen. Getting rid of as much of the immersion breaking loading as possible is what I want most.

    What I want more than anything else is a complete revamp of the shipbuilding system in this game. As it currently stands, the shipbuilder is barely functional, pays no attention to aesthetics, and disallows players to create truly unique ships. If they fixed just this aspect of the game, I might be willing to actually give this game a second look.

    Also, giving us something like a campaign editor would go a long way toward earning back some of the trust that Bethesda has burned with this community. I’ve always wanted to play a story where I got to actually become the Mantis and hunt pirates and other lawbreakers in the settled systems instead of joining Constellation.

    I’ve always said what I’m about to say but I think Starfield lacks a big bad guy. The Hunter was the closest we got and even then. He is pretty tame.

    I’m talking low chance raid like boss encounters that require your chosen faction to support you in the raid. Ideas: Sentient Mechs, Rogue A.I Class M ship, Avatar of The Unity and even a juiced up version of The Mantis if you choose the Crimson Fleet or have a high bounty.

    Having the tools to make new animations released, would really help the game I think. Or increase the number of paywalled weapons greatly ^^

    Space city’s, large ship battle with m class boarding and fights. Harder ship fight in the game that make you think vs just run in head first.

    The unique perks you got from earning the trust of your companions was one of the best things about Fallout 4 and it’s a shame they removed the feature. The skills are probably meant to be a substitute but it’s a bit of a weak one. Mickey Caviar actually has a cool backstory that he shares gradually while you’re travelling with him. In my game he runs the catering at my Porimma 2 beach resort just down the coast from Paradiso.

    I want starborn universe bubble, some kind of buildable area where you can keep all your collectibles and maybe even keep your unlocked crew as starborn. And all this would move with you to each new universe. Would make the settlement builder more meaningful.
