The first new intellectual property in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios has finally arrived! Set in the far flung NASA-punk future of the year 2330, we assume the role of a member of Constellation, a dated organization of space explorers. The easiest way to tell if you are in a ‘unique universe’ is by checking the quest log, after you leave the Unity. If it just says ‘Go to the Lodge’ then you in a unique universe, but if it says ‘Go to the Lodge (MAST District)’, then your in a normal universe. You can reroll the Universe, by loading the Save, directly after leaving the Unity and before you make changes to your character.
The “weapon tester” in the bar might be a better fit for your cop play-through than it seems at a glance

Simeon Bankowski is probably the most cop-like. He’s a UC weapons tester, turned sniper for hire. Good combat follower, and goodie two-shoes. He’s at the Viewport
I really like Marika. She has a great back-story but the reason I didn’t mention her is that she hated being a Ranger.
Also um… a Vae Victis truther hates Freestar, not that we’re really sticklers for that kind of thing.
By the way, you don’t have to do the main quest to romance someone. You get the opportunity to talk with them and ask them to just get to know this version of them, and they somewhat suspiciously agree to try to pretend you’re not starborn.
36:00 no traits are helpful. There’s a mod to choose your universe when you come out of the unity, however.
You can use it to roll a random alternate, so you can still be surprised while knowing it won’t be a normal one.
Melee in Fo4 isn’t bad, it’s just suicidal in a world full of Guns.

29:00 it’s like you knew you’d be wearing a dress this time.
You can use the power Creators Peace to make enemies drop their weapons and you can quickly snatch them up to have them resort to melee.
17:30 level scaled weapons on the wall in the basement. I am yelling this through the fabric of space time but somehow you can’t hear me.

Best thing in a new universe is to steal all the weapons from the Syndicate hideout. They scale up once you NG+ at a higher level. Also that poor Italian dude at the surplus store in the Well. That guy gets robbed blind at the start of every NG+ run. Keep what you like and immediately head around the corner to the Trade Authority to sell what you don’t need. Few grand and a some weapons and ammo right off the bat.
Alao after raiding the Syndicate you’ll have a few grand worth of contraband to sell.
Those two places gets you pretty well set up in 5 or 10 minutes.
It is indeed random what universes you get. And most of the time it’s just the normal one. Even save-scumming them is tedious.
It’s gonna take you years to reach all variations naturally.
32:00 you do melee power attacks by pressing “v”. 42:34 you can press “r” while in your scanner to decorate on your ship
I can’t believe you got the evil Andreja start after your last playthrough
17:57 solar flare is actually one of the strongest starborn abilities but its best used against bosses and enemies with a lot of health since it does a percent max health damage DOT. Also unlike in previous games Starfield allows you to sleep while in combat so you could have gone into your room and got back your health. you can also use moon form to heal it recovers a good amount of HP and makes you almost invincible.
I wonder if lyle will play the star wars genesis mod.

I’m all my ng+ runs to fully max my powers (took 11 because one of them glitched and wouldn’t give 2 powers) I only got 1 special universe
