People bandwagon and are unreasonably hard on this game. I really recommend people play themselves first. It’s not the next skyrim or fallout but it’s still a lot of fun and a cool story. A few top rated basic mods also make a huge difference. I got basic fixes mod from my first game and haven’t had a single bug so far. So easy to be negative!

I could’ve overlooked the loading screens if the game wasn’t so boring. Go to a planet for the first time, go to the points of interest, and……. congratulations, you’ve seen pretty much every boring planet. Go to sell your loot? Shops have a laughably low amount of cash. Want to sell the ship you just acquired? Buy a license that leaves you with a grand or two after the sale. Activities are pointless. Also why do the NPCs have eyes that are bugging out of their head like they have a thyroid issue?

Is Starfield a dead game? Wow! How out of date I am. I even bought an RTX 5090 to play this game. What a waste of money! I have to stop playing this game and move on. Maybe when Elder Scrolls VI comes out…

UE5 also bad for racing game and pretty much anything that isnt an FPS shooter requires real work and knowledge unreal has ALWAYS been like that. Also there is no shift to other engines its complete marketing go talk to devs, everyone will always use custom work or custom patch work listening to this dumbass talk about what engine to pick is like listening to a 6 year old talk about nintendo or sega, meaningless. We used unity because it was powerful and cheap. Will use the next tool set for the same reason. The truth is I cut my teeth on unreal because back in the day they shipped all there tools on the disc, over the years theyve just added onto the same way betheseda want to with creation engine the big difference is EPIC are successful at selling the engine to people who only know surface level shit. The Creation engine is the built on gamebryo which is defunct and never good to begin with.

“A big year for Slopfield”? The best thing Bethesda could do with Slopfield is delete every sloppy line of it from their servers and beg us to never mention its name again. Utter garbage. And yes, it may have killed TES6 too, before it even got going – Slopfield IS that bad.

Ive been waiting since elder scrolls V for VI to come out…its been 14 years… and now they start production? Not interested anymore and that’s why this is another studio that will end up down spiraling like Ubisoft… More people still play Skyrim than collectively the rest of their garbage… 14 years later and they still don’t get the hint…

I hate the argument that everyone should move to Unreal. It’s so prevalent now, so many bespoke engines killed and abandoned, every game now looks the same and has the same problems Unreal hauls around for decades now… at the same time as voices critical of the engine itself grow louder and louder.
I much rather play a 15 year old game now than a modern remake of it in Unreal Engine 5.

Fallout 4 was so ass I couldn’t play it for more than half an hour before I ragequit.

I hope starfield made Bethesda realize that they cant just crap out this garbage anymore. Remember when Bethesda was passionate about making their games and ideas. Maybe hire some people that have good new unique ideas, instead of Todd Howard. Todd has obviously exhausted his “good ideas” and simply doesn’t care anymore.
