SHIP DESCRIPTION
The AR-35 Strike Fighter, forged by Lindan Engineering Corporation for the Freestar Navy. Developed for one singular purpose: Class M ship assault, AR-35 Ares Strike Fighters were developed in response to rising threats from Crimson Fleet and Ecliptic capital ships.
The onboard holding cell can detain 2 prisoners, while the ship itself, can accommodate 2 flight crew, making it a worthy multi-role fighter. Triple Proton Torpedo Launchers fracture enemy ships from a distance. Dual chin-mounted laser cannons swiftly disable shields, allowing its oversized 49mm rapid-fire autocannon to shred what’s left of the ship. The AR-35 doesn’t just attack capital ships, it’s also a highly capable quick reaction strike fighter, that can easily take on multiple hostiles at the same time, its powerful arsenal easily taking out Class B warships.
The AR-35 Ares stands as a formidable deterrent against any unauthorized incursions, safeguarding the Settled Systems.
THINGS TO NOTE
– I have been wanting to build this ship since the very beginning, but it just wasn’t possible. Thanks to Ship Module Snap Extension by Hobart, this build is now somewhat possible and this is my take.
– Overall dimensions are just slightly larger than the normal ship.
