It most definitely did because when was the last time we saw or heard anything about elder scrolls 6 ?!

The game engine needs to be either heavily optimized or scrapped and replaced with something new. We could all tell it’s the same nuts and bolts holding starfield together as Skyrim and fallout. They need a fresh start with ES6.

The only problem with Starfield was its scope. Had they decided to stick to fewer more manageable planets instead of copy pasting 1000 planets, the game would have received so much better.

I mean I have high hope for elder scrolls, simply cause for me the biggest problem was the little effort put into planet design and it felt so empty and slow, I hear they added vehicles but little to late for such a simple feature,
Hopefully elder scrolls sense it’s one map they have already slightly hand crafted through elder scrolls online. Shouldn’t be to hard to make it feel not so dang barren.

I liked starfield but it’s a chore to play, theres hardly anything to look forward to and I found myself thinking “wow I wish I could do this” more than “wow I can’t wait to do this” the game doesn’t truly start till you hit ng+

Bethesda games seem like the Pokemon or the AC series, just more of the same. They have a huge task ahead of them, rooting for you guys. By the way, call me nuts, but my favorite Bethesda game is Oblivion👀👀👀😏

A Bethesda space themed game still was a fair enough idea I reckon. For me they just needed to restrict it to a single star system. Have all planets flyable to in the ship with no load screen and expand space gameplay. Then with planetside, I would’ve been fine if they just did did a star wars outlaws & used a fog transition to planet surface. And similarly just have a large section of each planet to explore rather than trying to fill a planet with Ai gen. Then they couldve had those areas hand crafted and detailed, and most imortantly have the population set on daily tasks like previous titles. With less repetitive & more in depth questlines of course

Skyrim was not genius. The timing of release and marketing was. They owe a lot to game of thrones. I love the game but the combat sucks, choices dont really have any consequences and the skill trees were pretty lack luster. Skyrim their biggest hit was far from genius. Their best game wasnt even made by them and Obsidian only had 18 months to make New Vegas
