Did you try heavy instead of pistol? Just wondering if maybe it counts as a heavy instead (like base cutter). Also important to note, at least in my load order this does not play nice with TN Power Tools. As both sort of mod the base cutter like a normal weapon.

I did purchase it as I like looking at as more as a starfield style phaser. Which fits my work on a trek full redo. The skins made me decide to go ahead and give it a try. I use a cutter a lot and also decorate outposts/ships with weapons a lot.

I purchased this Creation as soon as it was added, however … it is fair to mention the Cutter was my favorite weapon in the game, and this is a Superior variant of it. Plus, it is compatible with all Cutter Texture Creations by other authors.

Bashing is great when you spec into melee skills, then you can stagger or simply knock down hostiles altogether with a pistol whip.

Also, I noticed ammo perks like incendiary legendary effect can apply to gun bashing as well. That’s probably unintended, but it’s bethesda, therefore a feature and not a bug 😆

It’s a cool idea but the Aaliyah Addison weapons have the same idea for free while allowing them to function and look like normal weapons. Though I assume this would be a good option for some if it is or will become achievement friendly

This mod will always be in my load order. It saves me on bullets when i am killing the alien animals.

To be brutaly honest seem like an extremly basic “first” nif bash and definately something that shouldnt be sold, probably just adds the same keywords for the skin for mars skin.

I was able to buy one in the weapon shop down in the well at level one, so it can be bought at any level.
I like the fact that you have a cutter and a weapon all in one and don’t have to go in and switch when you’re mining and something comes at you.

This mod is a staple in my load order. It offers a ton of utility, has a good assortment of attachments, perks and skins. It also has the one-handed animations for player movement, which is what i like most about it.

Why the heck would professional miners be using a tool that requires 2 hands if a 1-handed version (that’s the same size) is just as controllable AND more powerful 🤔 Because it costs real money! 😂 Get yours today wherever rip-offs are sold.

Well, it’s an improvement on the vanilla cutter.. And so if you use the vanilla one a lot, but are annoyed by the constant automatically switching between weapon and cutter when using the scanner.. Or you want the cutter to be even more viable as a weapon – I’d say it’s worth it when you combine the right mods and legendary perks, and if you’re into the immersion of mining, but hate the switching between weapons to deal with enemies..

This allows you to remain in scanner mode and keep using it as a weapon.

Firing a pistol with 2 hands is proper

Firing a pistol with 1 hand is normally only done when your other hand is keeping a threat at arms length
