But yet you can’t take showers even with a mod you still can’t take showers 😂
im happy you followed my suggestion it makes me smile. u really are a very awesome person and i am glad u are so genuine and well spoken and informative, i have seen many youtubers ignore their subs, u never disappoint
Thanks for the great content as always!
As others have mentioned, it feels a bit out of place. I like the mod, and the attempt at immersion, but the Camper is from OUR time. It does not feel like it was designed by the UC, Freestar, or Ryujin in the 2300s.
I would have preferred if the Camper and Tents looked like they were designed by NASA for the Lunar surface, or Mars, like inflatable domes of oxygen on worlds without it. Right now, these items would be ANTIQUES in the Starfield lore, and only really useful on Pre-Collapse Earth-like Planets. There are ways you can headcanon it, but I would have preferred an attempt at NASA-punk style for the deployables.
It does not feel like it has any place in space, or on a planet with hostile environments. Once again, I like the mod, and I like the Creator’s idea, but I feel like it belongs better as a Fallout Mod on Earth than in Starfield …
Damn I forgot I bought this! thanks for reminding me to boot up Starfield and check it out haha
Thanks!
The canteen messages may be intended to play like the one from Fallout New Vegas. It would automatically consume some of your water whenever your character became thirsty (without the player needing to do anything) and would play the message to let the player know that it was activating.
really good mod and really good video
I think this mod works really well with the immersion aspect of the game considering that when you do the Stroud quest to design a ship, one of the suggestions from the team organised to build the ship is that the ship could be used for families going on a trip to another world and maybe going camping lol. Would be nice if Bethesda added some random encounters of planets where you could come across a family camping in the wilderness, maybe their ship is nearby haha, hell maybe the ship they are using is the ship you designed for Stroud haha.
I feel like if you set up camp random things should happen when you sleep or stay at it for to long, basically it’d be like camping stories but the stories actually happen when you camp in the wilderness and different biomes give different ones
Coffee time! Awesome, I can now set up homeless camps around all the cities and pretend I come from Nolgroth’s part of the world. Great video, thanks for the review
The caravan is so out of place some kind of small self-deploying building would have been better.
Capsule Corp. technology.
Neat! I was thinking a while back that it would have been cool if canteens had actual use..
Here’s a mod I’d like to see:
Useful Gear
It adds a new inventory tab, say underneath Throwables, that is named Gear..
The game have LOADS of tools available as clutter.. These could be used for all sorts of things..
Canteens are already covered here.. But what if you could find different quality versions of these tools, that gave buffs when you used them?
One tool gives an accuracy boost for 30 minutes (sort of how drink/water works, when you got that setting turned on)
And then you just do a bunch of different boosts depending on the different tools..
About to do some sniping at an enemy base? Use tool X to adjust the sight and gain that accuracy boost, as part of the preparation..
Do different quality versions up to legendary and make the boosts differ in power and low long they apply.. Maybe even have multiple effects on legendary..
I guess, have them on a timer, so they can’t be spammed (instead of being one time use like medpacks or whatever)
Chesko was able to have a proper camping placement system in Skyrim 10 years ago. A paid mod is incapable of having one in a modern game that sports a vanilla outpost placement system to begin with. Yeah, not worth paying for.
If anything, the water canteen thing isn’t a “cheat” or “powerup” so much as it is a PITA compared to acquiring water normally. I mean, you can get water by the tens of thousands from a single outpost, or possibly from blasting apart space rocks, or boarding hostile ships and looting things: there’s a Hopetech/Taiyo storage room that spawns with a bunch of beer and meal kits too.
wow
