I am personally disappointed by the NPCs. I thought this would be a secluded location on Volii Alpha, with how far away it is from Neon. The Vendors are okay, and obviously SOMEBODY had to build the platform in the middle of the ocean, but it was a bit of a let-down. That being said, the area is much larger than I thought from the pictures, and it is nice to have all Mission Board Kiosks, multiple ship vendors for us Builders, and the different Vendors.

I will be purchasing this one. However, I may have to use LBGSHI’s Erase NPC Creation to “evict” the other tenants from the platform.

Thanks again for covering this one. I always wanted to “live” on Volii Alpha, but not inside Neon or high above it in the penthouse. I love the idea of a private platform, far from “the city,” and only wish it had less NPCs wandering around.

I’m usually not a house mod kind of guy, being a spacer and all, but this one is awesome(location, location, location), it’s like another little town with vendors and everything, so it’s a reason to keep coming back, I’m going to pick this one up. I wish you didn’t have to buy the house with credits though because when you’re starting a NG, 80k is a lot of credits, could have had it where good ole uncle Fred dies and leaves you his house.

Have you checked out the Bunker House on Bradbury? It’s a free mod and its absolutely huge. A mini quest at the bottom and a shit ton of free loot. It took me an hour to go through all the rooms.

You should get the Better Crowd Citizens.

I would be willing to pay as much as 3000 credits for a player home mod and all it had in it was one chest. Inside the chest would be a slate with basic information about the next story expansion for Starfield. You know. If there will be one. If so, broadly what it’s gonna be about. And roughly when we can expect it. Nothing crazy. You would expect we’d have that info by now for free. But obviously we need to sweeten the pot a little. So let’s go. Btw. Nice review of this one CF. Keep up the good work.

It’s crazy that so many mods have lighting issues if you need to turn on your torch when walking around your ship or home that’s a problem isn’t it

thanks for your good work. the problem with these house mods is that they are useless because you can not assign the crew or companions. some mods like Hyla for example have updated and even if only on one floor you can assign the crew and companions even if the ship builder is missing. personally I did not eliminate it precisely because I could assign the crew. there is no point in making a thousand types of houses if you can not assign the crew and make it your home like you do for the spaceship.

Too many homes and habs mods, It would be so much cooler if they made these into poi mods that randomly occur in the world as dungeons. Creations is filled with this stuff.

Off the bat, having NPCs and other buildings nearby is a big change from standard player homes.
5:07 Those should be for mission board supply quests, where you link goods from your outposts.
10:35 And that’s why you normally don’t have NPCs at player homes. People will also invade your Sleep Crate on Neon.
I’d be tempted to climb those towers and even jump off the platform to see if they provide a way back up.

I wish you reviewed more free mods because there’re normally better. I’ve only seen a handful of paid mods worth my time & money
