Stupid would be comparing starfield to SC in the first place. The real “killer” of SC will be Chris Roberts himself. He’s doing a great job screwing that up all on his own.

Starfield being on console is a damn good game. Its better than no man’s sky in certain aspects but nowhere near that level of open world. The one thing I wish they did differently was the planet entering phase, if you could just fly down and land without a loading screen, and take off and fly to space i would have played a whole lot more. The only loading screen you get in nomans is when ur trying to warp to a different system. The combat is way better than no man’s. The lore behind it is cool, and the story is nice. Plus, you don’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of money of the game to enjoy it either.

So many people immediately started walking back their comments when it Starfield came out lol. So many, “starfield is gonna kill Star Citizen when it comes out,” then when it did now it’s, “Oh sf is an RPG, you can’t compare it to SC,” “oh sf is single player you can’t compare it to SC.”

I have an old comment from before the release that sf will be just Fallout 5 with X4 flight mechanics.

Seeing Fdev do some work now that CIG is making them panic by actually making good on their promises lol. New ship, base building, space port building, but it’s probably too little to late, no majorly requested features like ship interiors, the garbage release of Odyssey, and 10 years of nearly stagnant development… Elite is on life support.
