This game is trash. The graphics are old, the skill tree looks horrible, the NPC’s are lifeless, the cities are pretty but lifeless. Saving grace is the space ship battles and flight. The terrain fighting is worse than Destiny. Half of the UI looks like the game was made using adobe flash player.

Had to stop playing because the game keeps freezing for about 5 seconds every 10 minutes and I have high end rig and dialogue goes out of sync, i so hope these get fixed asap as the game seems very very promising, can’t wait for it to be buttery smooth!

I love Lily, so it was super weird to me seeing her at the Space and Rocket center in this video as someone who went to school at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and drove by there 4 times a week. The university is just on the other side of the exit, and you can see the rocket from campus

Don’t buy this game the frame rate on Xbox sx is around 25 fps I naught the 100 $$$ pre order and the frame rate is so bad it’s unplayable it looks like a strobe light when you turn. The only thing that helps is turning your turn speed all the way down. Game looks amazing… until you turn to look around. Also game has crashed 2 times in two hours and failed to load saves and froze 2 times as well… wtf lied to again also the first city looks like some one typed r_Fulbright into quake 1’s console

Man, this brought back memories. In 5th grade, my class went to space camp as a field trip. It was really crazy too, as it had been my dream for years to go, as when I was a cub scout, all the Boys Life magazines had a space camp ad on the back. I got into sci fi at 7 y/o with Star Wars, and had a really long phase where I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. If 5th grade me knew about the game I get to play tomorrow, he’d be so jealous lol.

Uhh… – no individual landing on planets? Everything only by animation at fixed locations? That’s what makes exploring planets so exciting: hovering over the surface and discovering interesting places where you then land – a la “No Man’s Sky”. This also seems to limit the steering of the spaceships. With each day, somehow more and more new details come to light, which make the game – from a space explorer’s point of view – more and more uninteresting. Very sad 😞 Mods – always a sign of laziness of the developers/publishers. I guess in two years it will be patched ready. “Ordinary” graphics/technology won’t blow anyone away in 2023 – and menus and shooter feeling have always been old-fashioned and clunky at Bethesda.

Been playing Bethesda Games since I was 11 years old pre ordered Skyrim with some chore money and I’ve been hooked ever since. Bethesda has dabbled with procedural generation for a long while. Its a lot like a puzzles and if the pieces fit this could be amazing. It could also set new expectations for procedural content going forward. Lets hope this game innovates as well, can’t wait to try it

Low quality hair meshes and textures
Low quality character meshes and animations
Foliage that doesn’t react when walked through
No underwater swimming (only surface)
No NPC reaction to you dragging dead bodies infront of them

It reminds me of Johnson Space Center, I went 3rd grade, 5th grade, 11th grade. I’ll work for NASA someday. Probably going to be software. All I have to show is skills I won’t need to do a PhD for that. Otherwise I’ll probably get the job at 55 lol. In my late 40s I’ll go back for a PhD. For Data Science, Computer Science of Physics. I want to be a professor until I die. I will never retire as I don’t believe in Social Security. So that means I can live abroad and look for jobs outside of U.S.A. in my older years. Why so long? well, my 20s was learning about life and who I was. Took about until 28 to fully understand everything I needed. Now in my 30s I am ready to leave and embark on my real life journey. 35-55 is to get as much skill as possible. Hopefully in 5 year sprints. 5 years working in software engineering, 5 years working in data science/mathematics, 5 years working in art (painting), 5 years working in game development. I’ve been putting the pieces together since the pandemic. I learned how to digital paint during the pandemic. I was actually pretty good at it. I needed to become a beginner concept artist to at least build the space game I am thinking about. I have the skill enough to make the game right now, but I don’t have the life experience, I will once I am 55. I also have to write the story. I started by making it so disconnected from humans then I realized if it’s not human relatable, then it won’t be popular.

Right now I can only do all of this because I have no plan on having children. Once I have children, I won’t be flexible. So I might end up just being a software engineer until 70, (lets face it A.I. will probably take that lol. That’s why I am a master of none, (leaning heavily on software engineering lol) I am trying to find certain pathways that A.I. can”t ever grab in my lifetime) supporting my children
