@InonZurOfficial, this entire score is a masterpiece! It’s the first game score that gave me the “Awe and Wonder” emotions I felt the first time I listened to Marty O’Donnell’s Destiny score. It’s the kind of music that when you hear it out of context, you just want to go back and play the game.

Some Ideas for Improvements for Starfield in the future: I want an Artificial Intelligence Interface in the ship’s navigator, with a hologram and a great capacity to be updated, so much so that you can create a being that is like a droid to physically contain the AI .
More drones, droids and the ability to create them.
Many other alien civilizations that want to conquer space, that there is an intergalactic war in which we can be part. That by destroying another spaceship you can recover modules. If those modules are from alien ships, you have to apply research to reverse engineer them so you can manufacture those parts. That in your base you can set up a factory of parts of this type and thus sell them or use them in your spaceships. I want an improvement inside the spaceship where also, if you leave your ship docked or leave your ship still in space, pirates can board it, and when the ship receives attacks, an alert alarm is activated informing you that you are being attacked or that there are intruders. That when you make jumps in hyperspace you can decide whether to spend all that time in the ship doing something else and contemplating the wormhole, or simply speed up the jump (optional). Remove loading screens, leave graphical transitions. See how the ship traverses the atmosphere, from the moment you decide to enter to land until the landing point (option to accelerate or skip the process). That there could be modular space armor, like in Skirym. That black holes exist. Improve space combat further. That you can have at least one additional ship outside of companion. The possibility of creating immense starships, the possibility of creating outposts in space like a galactic station, yes, the resources to create them are immense and force you to create outposts on planets to mine resources. That you can create turrets/sensors on planets to support attacks on approaching enemy ships in space. Sometimes receiving waves of space attacks and in positions. A small land transport, like a motorcycle at least, that can be designed and manufactured and consume resources such as Helium or that can be mobilized because it has a nuclear reaction core. That reactors and parts for much more powerful spaceships can be investigated. The Possibility of being able to leave your ship into space and repair important areas, obviously having a safety harness. That they can generate better designs in the caves, that are impressive as it was in Skirym. There is no Maximum level in the game, you can always continue leveling up, and the NPCs adapt to these values. The possibility of creating unique structural modules for the spacecraft, which we can mold and decide what their anchor points or type of anchoring will be like. That space modules can be created and that they depend on the material or alloy with which we want to create them, from inorganic materials from mining. This would affect the modules’ resistance to different types of weapons.

Some of these, like Atlas and Perihelion are not in the game OST. Are they being released later?

Starfield score is kinda mid

The way how the melody swells as you “finish” the game and watch that cutscene is just amazing. It just hits you different after hearing the music exist in the background but come to the forefront proudly at the end. Amazing.

Even with the power of the London Symphony Orchestra this is nowhere near Jeremy Soule’s level of music.

Nice presentation of the better tracks here, but TBH, the overall soundtrack for Starfield is mostly just tonal chords being noodled around and around and around. Lots of influences from other sci fi IPs, but aside from the main theme and a few other tracks, most of it is meh’. Bethesda, please do not use Mr. Zur on ES VI, Tamriel needs identifiable and FOCUSED musical movements.

Bethesda, hear me out: If you published a full study score for Starfield, composers, teachers, students, and fans of the game from all over the world would buy it. Trust me!

The musics alright reminds me a fair bit in places of The Outer Worlds, much like the lockpicking thing with the concentric circles that look an awful lot like the circles around Welles head at the start of The Outer Worlds.

Can take or leave the music tbh, ive already put it down to 50%. To be fair id probably rather play with the Mass Effect score, or Gustav Holsts The Planets or even select songs by Muse like Supermassive Black Hole, Starlight, Knights of Cydonia and certain obvious David Bowie ones! Hell might even make a playlist on here for it!

Such a great decision making the main melody of the theme a French horn part. French horns just have this deep and booming sound that shakes your bones and makes you yearn for adventure.

The second movement gives me some serious Star Trek vibes with the high pitched signature before the rest of the instruments come in. This had to have been an intentional homage. This game scratches every itch a Star Trek fan has ever had in their lives.

It’s amazing that years after playing Bethesda videos game now being in my 30s starting with Morrowind every game since has had such an amazing soundtrack gives me goosebumps.

With the new UPDATE THIS GAME GOT WORSE FAR FAR WORSE NOT BETTER HOLY SHT MAN.

This game is garbage absolute trash. Soooooo many sooo many many bugs that its unplayable. Constant crashes force me to quit the game and restart the game again. All the progress in so many missions that i lost all the loot that i lost just because the game crashes. It is bugged more than a nest of bugs. Characters suddenly float out of the scene that i cannot finish quests. In other occasions im almost done with the quest and the npcs have the icon above their head but dont seem to be programmed to continue to give me the nest lines of dialogue to finish the quests. Aside of all this dialogue is extremely goofy. Gunfights are like 1995 doom on mac desktops, it feels lame. Why do i need to travel 20 times back and forth just to exchange goofy conversations between npcs that only have me doing errands for them? In 2023 this game feels like it was made to be released in 2006 with the first fallout. It really took Bethesda studio 7 years to make this $70 dollar garbage? Wow. Im sure that Bethesda will figure out a way to solve this issue (they will simply delete all the negative comments and keep all the good ones).

Disappointed they didn’t include Elton Johns Rocket Man.

Difficult to match Jeremy Soule’s work, TES IV & V have unbeatable composition. Inon Zur had a good attempt but I would’ve payed twice the amount of Starfield had Jeremy composed the soundtrack.

I clicked on this video with intentions to skip to a couple of my favorite tracks and that’s it, but the score for this game is so damn good and seeing it performed live is so mesmerizing, it had me hooked from the beginning. Ended up watching the whole thing.

As a classical musician myself, this is absolutely amazing to see, as close to a “Starfield Symphony” as we’ll get!

There are no new, challenging, or enchanting sound textures here. It’s pretty much cut, paste, print. Easy paycheck for a symphony and conductor. Skyrim is hopefully proof the best works results from executives that are sober.

The main theme brings that sense of discovery and wonder

Starfield is being made for PC and pandering to Nvidia while Xbox series X which runs on AMD is being ignored by the devs leaving console owners with a b.grade lack luster version of the game.

The beauty we make as humans. Something as insignificant … as a game, to the grand scope of things. This game causes a group of well-trained musicians to execute a melody that we will one day hold dear. This is just captivating me .. Well, he’s no Christopher Tin, but it sure is pretty good.

I’ve always liked Zur’s work but I was never moved as much as I have been with this soundtrack. I truly believe this is the best work he has ever done and I can definitely hear it in every note. I’m hearing pretty much everything that I have loved about sci-fi music from Star Wars to Star Trek, from Stargate to 2001 A Space Odyssey. All of the work of Horner, Williams, Goldsmith, Arnold, etc. filtered through Inon’s style is just a perfect mix.

Not surprised Starfield’s soundtrack is so good. I loved so many tracks from Fallout 4. As much as I loved Skyrim’s soundtrack, each one has it’s place with the game universe it’s related to and this really fits Starfield, to me.

I really like the Starfield soundtrack, and I don’t think I’ve even heard all the tracks in game yet. I don’t think it’s quite as good as the music in the first Mass Effect game, but that game pretty much nailed the futuristic sci-fi space vibe, and tbf Starfield aimed for a different tone.

Amazing music as with every big Bethesda game, but the game not too great really…….. Please fix the LUTs / terrible contrast sapping colour filters and add native HDR support. I would give it a go then after that with DLSS being added now, that is great news.

Easily my soundtrack of the year, across all mediums. So much variety, and it captures the mystery and wonder of space so well. Absolutely love it. It also blends in with each location so well, and it occasionally sends a chill down your spine. I have a good speaker and headphone setup, and the sound mixing is wonderful too.

Playing the game with a really good pair of headphones and dolby atmos for headphones is incredibly immersive. Some of the best sound design I’ve ever heard in a game if I’m honest, and an incredible soundtrack to boot.
