I must say I am curious, are they using some console command to disable the limits on shipbuilding? Because when I try to build something more than 5 habs long I get the error that it is too long.

While I love the look of everyones ship designs you all forget one important thing…… SOME OF US PLAY ON CONSOLE AND DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO THE COMMAND SYSTEM TO MAKE SUCH OUTRAGEOUS SHIP DESIGNS.

They all look like stacks of shipping containers welded together and strapped to engines. Perhaps an explanation of their primary purpose and functionality to justify why they are best builds? I dunno…that would make sense to me 🤷‍♂️

Man they really need to work on the motion path guide for the lift off sequence, it’s so evenly timed and jerky that any sense of mass and momentum is lost. Needs a proper ease in at the start

The Yamato has to be my favourite. There’s something truly unique about taking off in a ship-like spacecraft and “sail” through the galaxy to conquer another planet.

I’d say all of these ships requires mods because the shipbuilder is extremely limited in terms of nr of engines allowed, modules allowed and overal sizes… And since the mod pretty much allows you to build however large ships you want, it’s no problem building monsters.
The real skill is building good looking large ships NOT using mods..

Now I have the Star Blazers theme stuck in my head. Some beastly builds here but the Yamato is just amazing.
