Minis will not hit rust console at stage its at now.they will need to drop old gen to move forward.if they do that theres a chance.have a system like gta,different builds for new and older sustems.then i mite say theres a chance,but even then its slim to none.

If they could have helicopters in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the PS3, I’m sure they can add a helicopter to Rust. Bad Company 2 was full of destruction—you could destroy everything with a helicopter without lag

Adding Minis To Super Small Maps Are Only Going To Help Out The Big Groups And You Say Everyone Wants Them I Say No You’re Going To Realize How Small The Maps Are When Minis Come Out Cuz You’re Not Going To Have Any Fun It’s Going To Make The Big Groups Have Better Transport And It’s Going To Give Them More Scouting Range

It would be nice if they up the server pop and fix the audio bugs first I agree minis would be cool but the game still struggles as is so I highly doubt we’ll be getting minis anytime soon if ever I’d rather have a couple 500 pop servers or like one high pop server for each region

1.) logically, they will never drop old gen. Half the player base is ps4/xbox one s and therefore half the money made comes from them. They also won’t because old gen players paid for the game and so to say “well, we’re gonna stop updating the game you paid for and actually cancel it” would be a scam. 2.) Minis will not come for a long time, if ever on new gen and old gen. PS5/One X could barely handle minis on a 2.5k map, let alone old gens. Dont get me started on community servers with 5x gather rates and other mods. 3.) mid grade PC’s had trouble loading and running rust smoothly with things like minis added and other vehicles. What makes u think a console could handle it that well? All in all, rust console is a game developed by a tiny ass team of devs, who aren’t the best at what they do already, and to expect them to be able to add things like minis AND have it run smoothly on consoles, let alone old gen consoles, is a very very very big stretch. This leaves you with two options; A) move to PC, and buy a high-mid to high performance pc or B) wait some years for a new gen console to come out past the PS5 Pro / Xbox one X that has the hardware needed to run things like minis and more complex game features on maps that are 3.5k+ with all the intricate nuances each map has.
