Ok, so I could actually hook up a hand transmitter to turn them on and off instead of trying to beat the timer….because, lets face it…if your solo, you cant come back using the timer method
Honestly, this is a great channel,i learned so much and continue to do so.. i wonder how you dont have more views/subs. Μaybe Rust doesnt have huge player base anymore or there arent many people willing to learn about electricity(Myself included until recently).

A little note on switches (both regular and smart)
The switches actually have a strange way of working that you wouldn’t expect. The bottom and both side toggles are all actually power inputs. The difference is the bottom is neutral and doesn’t affect the switch state, whereas the side inputs WILL change the switch state.
The switch will passthrough whichever of the 3 inputs got power last. You can see this in action by plugging a switch into a counter with show passthrough, plug in 5 power to the bottom and turn the switch on, then 6 to the toggle on side input and you’ll see the counter go up by 1, then cut and reapply power to the bottom neutral input and it will go down 1 again. Of course the toggle off works the same way, but since it turns the switch off you’ll have to manually put it to the on position.
Bro I’ve binged all your videos all week on vacation never thought I’d finally like doing electricity I feel like I can do it so fast now. But with your advice what do I learn next after I practiced doing the tree and branches method. Seem to have it down but struggle to use the rest of the tools. I really want to learn fun shit like a speaker system that yells at people when they’re near the base 😂
