hey Winter, used to watch you years back when i just got into watching Rust, then you fell out of my recommended videos and i watched other YouTubers, but now i came back to see your content and feel a bit disappointed. Been watching Rust for about 4 years, and recently started playing it, but id like to think that I’ve matured in the content that id like to see in Rust. What I mean by that is that its interesting to see semi-scripted or “eventful” videos such as “raiding 1k clan, taking over the map” and such, but the fact that such videos require you to play on modded servers , takes away the fun from watching Rust.

I believe that the core of Rust entertainment are the struggles of finding loot, building a base and mainly, the PVP. And I believe that these core entertainment factors of Rust can mainly be found on Vanilla servers. Gathering 100k stone in a couple of minutes just so you can build a huge compound, is not as entertaining as watching someone struggle to get that one node as a naked and possibly have to fight for it. so as soon as i see 3k stone gathered from a node at the start of the video, i already lose interest in it.

I think to some degree, these “eventful” videos are fun to watch once in a while, but not on regular basis, they get boring pretty quickly, because they are not centered on personal struggles of surviving, but on some monumental events, that can only be achieved by skipping the actual survival struggle.

Not a criticism of your content, you have to do what works for you best, and maybe im in the minority with such opinion, but perhaps this would serve as some valuable feedback for your content, because it does seem like you’ve dropped from the radar on youtube.
