Thank you for many years, I came here because wipe day, finally had time to play this holiday, surprised no video yet but these days I get it, we all get older man I know you probably don’t even play Rust anymore but I hope all is well and can’t wait for the new video on the huge primitive update

I love that they always add things to the game BUT I wish they would expand end game. I feel like you get to end game and there isn’t much to do. Yes you can dominate other players but there should be more “reasons” to reach end game.

I also think they should fix the server list and maybe do something to keep servers alive. People switch servers too fast and it would be nice for servers to stay more active for longer periods of time

There is a URL section where it says you can paste a URL and makes it seem like you can listen to what you want but on every single server that isn’t the case and music must be added by server host. Idk if the radio excites me. I want Slipknot.

I feel like the ballista is going to ruin more solo gameplay, zergs are the only ones that are going to be able to raid with them successfully.

Siege weapons are going to absolutely ruin the game. Especially if they break a stone wall a stone wall in 4 hits like the rumors say.

I’m wondering if you wear a hazmat suit, take max rad tea, enter launch site puzzle building— do you still get blasted with rads?

Also, Nerf large excavator and slow down the military loot drops, fix puzzle doors stuck open after daily server reboots. Thats my Santa wish list.

if devs wants medival game make a medival game this is rust it is about pvp and progression(which is so fast that people start roaming around with t2/t3 guns 1 hour into the wipe)

Still need some way of making Zerg life harder…? Increase player damage taken proportionally to the size of group? Increase the cost of research and crafting proportionally. Reduce the amount from resource gathering. Reduce the smelting rate etc etc

With all of the medieval stuff, Rust is just trying to kill the game Renown before its even out

you have to add slow haymaker punches which do less damage then a rock and a charged up version like hold G for 6 seconds to throw a harder hit, buttstock hits would be O.P

Hear me out. Facepunch and Rockstar Games are both on par with each other when it comes to being the GOAT. I know that might sound a bit farfetched, and I’ll probably get some haters, but Facepunch are honestly incredible with the work they do. It’s the little things man, the quality of life.

Let’s be real, both games have hacker problems, but name me an online multiplayer game that doesn’t.

Correction: You can currently rotate the disco floor BUT you can’t rotate when it snaps to another floor. Hopefully that changes since one of the modes has the lights moving from one corner to the other and it would be awesome to create patterns with that.

Also, I’m amazed they didn’t just make the sound recorder the radio. That’s what I already do as you can throw it on vehicles and make it stick. It’d also be awesome to have the radio on all the other vehicles, too. A mini and tugboat with a radio? Yes please!

After 7 years of gameplay and over 14,000 hours, I can confidently say this is going to be the best update in Rust has ever seen. I’ve waited so long for these much-needed changes, and it’s incredible to finally see them coming to life. Thank you, Facepunch, for making it happen!

Hey does anyone know if there’s any plans or possibly any plans for camouflage or tinier more hidden bases? Have been playing since day one and it’s something i always wanted to have as a solo player who works full time.

Would be nice if Facepunch would actually update their music from 10 years ago and make new tracks. I got fed up with listening to the boombox radio after one day, imagine if i have to listen to it everytime in the car?

I wish they reverted the new terrain and made it an option for server owners instead to choose between new and old and if they choose old then they should be allowed to use the new rocks or should I say old classic rocks, also where is the performance work? It’s starting to become like Tarkov where they add a ton of stuff but not improving on performance … was running 140fps constantly a full wipe like a year ago then they released some update that broke it all down into less than 70

if they’re going to add these siege weapons, t1 smgs, shields knight armor etc they need to make progression harder and slower, people will just skip all of this and get straight to t2 and t3 raiding. This has been the biggest problem since they added the tech tree and it was years ago, can’t believe they haven’t adressed it yet.

In my opinion the game is in desperate need of an Ai update on PvE entities all these updates are nice but they don’t address the things that are wrong with the game. They are meta changing sure, that will help keep it fresh but if they want the needle to move we need more dynamic combat more of a pve side to the game.

we need car upd – cars should have less engine parts, may be just T1 engine, T2 and T3 engine.
everything else runs without any engine parts.

I have a plugin that puts radios in all vehicles. But it would visually disappear once you moved the vehicle outside the view range of its spawn location. Carrying a bunch of guys to a raid in a scrap heli while Fortunate Son blares, great memories! And the radio could be destroyed if it took a hit.

Would be cool if there was more varierity in the air drops.

Such as:

Different types of crates for gear and items: normal (75% drop rate), rare(15% drop rate), elite(5% drop rate), vehicle crate(5% drop rate).

If it’s a vehicle crate, the following drops are possible: Car with fuel and all parts (80% drop rate), minicopter (10% drop rate), Scrap heli (7% drop rate), Attack heli (3% drop rate).

Also, some airdrop chutes could malfunction, giving some variety to the rate of decent.

Drop chutes: Perfect deployment of chute, is it is today (90% rate), Partial chute deployment. Rate of decent increaased substantially (7%), Chute fails completely. Rate of decent is terminal velocity (3%).

Crates and/or vehicles that deploy with failed chute will destroy at impact with ground, causing item create to shatter into smaller “loot” parcels. Vehicles will destroy and shatter on impact, but will leave salvagable items behind at impact site.

The above are just suggestions, but it will give some randomness to the airdrops.

Example:

An airdrop is called in / spawns. It drops a rare crate(15% drop rate) with enhanced loot, but the deployment of parachutes partially fails (7%).

The consequence of the above randomness: Good loot will hit the ground faster.

When is Rust going to add a metal barricade? Seems like a natural progression right?
