They main problem was choosing D11. No disrespect to the work theyve put in. But i imagine they’re understaffed with not much direction. They chose development on old gen just to possibly get as many players as possible vs having a better game. Theyre bottlenecked with old tech. Even on pc rust is very demanding. So they hire a 3rd party studio trying to do their best and make a name for themselves with all the demands with impossible restrictions.

They need to just reboot the game on new gen, hire more developers for console ports. Do something about cheating, content and most importantly.. communication.

Yes, it is failing. It’s failing very very hard. They keep decking us by not putting minis in 100% of my friends. Do not play rust anymore because of this and there’s no cave system. This game was made on a phone app literally. I think they can figure out how to do it

As a 1.5k hour old gen player, I agree with the argument they should remove the game from old gen. Unless they can fix the consistent crashing and disconnecting, lag spikes, etc… I see no point in playing the game. They “support” old gen but it still barely runs on it anyways. I know most people don’t think this way but either way I’d guess that almost EVERY old gen player has quit because of the lag and how shitty it runs on old gen so there’s no need to allow the 1-2% of players who play on old gen to delay the growth of the game. Also optimization is very rough work and by the time they could actually fix all the bugs with old gen the newer Xbox’s and that will probably be out and the game will probably be dead.

Hi, as a former community manger for a game. NDA’s are bad. Not just cause they don’t want you to talk. They can also have small print that’ll sign you likeness away. Trust me if you ever want to sign anything (not that you will) read it really really read it. You’re not silly but look into it….

I stopped playing rust console a few months ago even tho I have probably hundreds of dollars invested in skins Im just tired of the blandness of the game. It’s so boring.

Hello I’ve been playing since Christmas on a ps4 and it’s really addictive and great but for some reason nobody on the server I go on have mics so communication is difficult and I want some of the things that are on the pc like metal detectors,

Yeah so Jade, I would imagine the NDA is a safeguard on the chance that if something slipped out during a conversation or while sharing a screen or something like that, the corporation is safe from you leaking what you might accidentally see or hear.
So here’s your decision from my stand point;
If you sign it, they will speak to you and pass you tiny breadcrumbs of info like, “we have something big planned for the summer 2025. Go ahead and let your community know.”
They won’t speak to you with any depth, that’s for certain.
If you don’t sign it, they won’t care and they will just not speak to you at all.
Again, the decision is yours but in my opinion we choose to sub and view because you carry yourself ethically and with high merit. Do what’s right for you and your channel, and the game you obviously love. Your community will stand behind whatever decision you make.
Take a step back, don’t take the NDA talk personally, it’s just a formality and a process anyone in your position would have to go through.

We don’t need more and new things added what we have is actually already too much. I want the population on vanilla servers to be atleast 200. These maps are waaaaaaay too big for a measly 100 people.

They have had a long time to get caught up to pc version. Plus they won’t drop old gen so makes the situation a mess. There’s definitely something deeper going down behind closed doors. Respawn/EA does similar stuff with the bigger youtubers for apex. Giving early access to new stuff and making them not release any of the video footage from the early access stuff. That may be a possibility. So keep that in mind. Read through the entire document twice. Go back to confirm certain things that you might not understand. Get an advisor or a lawyer involved if need be. Can I ask why you want everything all at once. I’ve played on PC and Xbox for years. I know enough to know that a Xbox/PS5 have limitations on what it can handle and this game is very demanding. You think that these consoles can play this game like a PC can? I’m here to tell you that they won’t be able to. So introducing the assets into the game slowly is nothing more than seeing the consoles limits. You wouldn’t want a game that just crashes every time you load it up would you? Naw the game isn’t dead but it’s going to die if they don’t make it current gen. I feel like they need to polish the game and get it to the best it can be before anything else. Content can be put aside. The game has been is a bad state for a long while. The game would be 100% more enjoyable if it ran smooth and looked smooth.
