I love this idea you should do more challenges involving using traps but the challenge makes a disadvantage that rhe traps will fix like spoonkid did a wipe with no doors and it was a cool vid and they used traps instead of doors somthing like this that creates a unique challenge

i did this before but to make it actually op and bypass the vision limit , u need two people, one aiming with the turrets and one using ptz cameras marking the enemies just like u do with binoculars

Pablo you are my man dude. the build was awesome and all the traps were so fun to watch. if its not a biggy can u make a tutorial video on how to build this base? i think it would be fun to try and make upgrades for it

I set mine up to be on autopilot because I know I won’t be able to get on when I am getting raided. So far have not been completely raided. They usually quit about 20% of the way in.

Door controllers on the outside is a mistake. I wonder if they can be placed inside. Need to use sheet metal or armored doors for turrets, nad have the turrets on before the doors open.

if you log on and your getting raided I will say its an offline because they intended to raid you without you being able to defend. I dont call roam raids offline though. you are online just not at base

this is why official servers only allow 12 within a specific distance now

if you log on mid raid, that is still an offline raid.

im currently playing a low pop 100% vanilla server, my base an compound currently has 79 turrets that are all connected to seismic sensors, door controllers and all the works, you literally have to top down the base or spend 1 to 2 hours destroying turrets and fortified externals that all have peeks and defense kits of their own. so you risk a top down which is also absolutely covered in turrets or you spend ages going through compound and turrets while i send MLRS at your raid base. i have turret pods that are built up with the external windmills that open up and cover the entire roof but those only activate once the explosions reach the floor below the roof so they get trapped only when they bring real boom. missile silo and giant excavator are right next to each other so we walled them in, it costed a light 1.9 MILLION stone which consists of 211 external tcs at 945k stone (upkeep for wipe included) and 744 high external stone walls at just a bit under 1 million stone.

4:44 see this is what I don’t like. If youe trying to implement a real experience. Telling them the general area the TC is isn’t good. Real offline raid people wouldn’t kno. Feeding and helping raiders makes the experience boring. More entertainment when they truly have to guess.

U should do raid defense on console

You could always set up a seismic sensor to a timer so after x minutes the doors open and traps their boom! Lol would love to see more videos like this! Could do a high tech vs low tech base build off or something…
