Why are the jets so damn LOUD?!
Like I refuse to play during the last couple days b/c the jets are so obnoxiously loud that it hurts my ears.
Rockets and C4 are quieter. That should say it all.

It would be funny if the last event of rust was nuking the whole thing before changing from unity to something else.

Bro to be honest I’ve never even thought about trying to use a flash bang on a scientist. I use them all the time on players and they are so good but I’ve truthfully just never thought about trying them on a scientist. Good tip ! 1million IQ

Ngl it would sound like a really dope wipe event if an army of a thousand rocket wielding heavy scientists started shooting down every base and player

A fun event I’d like to see for server wipe would be a straight up BR event. A circle starts to close as jets fly by and fill the map with gas. It circles into some random spot, and once everyone is dead, the nuclear bomb fires off into the distance and explodes. What are we grinding for anyway if we don’t get to use all we have in a big climactic final battle?

Either that or an extinction event, like asteroids, fires, floods, random bombings, ect. Whatever it is, It just has to be fun.

Great guide. I really hope they do more with this monument tho in the future. How cool would it be if you could do some sort of mission/task to actually end wipes _ahead_ of when they normally are scheduled? People could be listed on leaderboards for fastest wipe, and would give the whole server an actual objective for once.

I can’t wait to erase some random 2×1 with a nuclear warhead one day

Still makes me laugh the amount of idiots that actually thought youd be able to cause the wipe to happen early with this, astounding how dumb some people can be. Lets take servers that already die in 2 days and make them die in 2 hours.

it would be so cool if it blows up 3 hrs before end of wipe so you can go into destroyed bases and get peoples gear for bp’s

This is why I stopped playing rust. Make things more difficult for the player with instant hard monuments, npcs and automation, and give the player less loot for winning. That and the insane time pit this game has become.

I still think some F1 Grenades are better as heavys like to stack in 3-4 as you can turn 225 damage into 4 times that, giving you a easy chance to finish them off.
Heck, you can probaly take no damage at all if you trow one in room and then flashbang after to finish off the enemy.

I believe heavy scientists have slightly more HP (400), but these NVG scientists are no joke.

It’s a challenging monument, and you only get one chance since the hatch closes behind you. I like it.

Edit: They have the same HP, just double checked myself. Not sure where I got the 400 from 🙂
