I play Rust on PC. I was going to get it for Xbox X and gift it to a friend to get him into it (he doesn’t have a PC). I had NO idea Rust console was so far behind Rust on PC. How do you all even play this game?

D11 has made it clear that they intend to support old gen for as long as they can but not forever, as the more heavy updates roll in its gonna be harder to support old gen, there is also a rumor that D11 has a contract to support old gen only until 2024

Is the farming stuff leaving ptb so we cant make sprinkers etc or we will still be able to craft them and a new update will arrive?

Anyone have a good server to go on for console I’m on xbox and every official server I’m just getting spawn killed every time it’s hard for a new player to even get his toes wet

i think that the horses are coming soon but not too soon its probably going to be next bp wipe because they have to add horse armor/horse shoes And the barn monuments

I found it restarted add cars, horses and minis on 3km maps 😂 could please have then at least Bigger maps like 5km 7,5km and 10 km for the minis, cars and horses? Cause 3 km maps I can run without having a horse or car, so I would like to have also bigger maps at least 10kms

sounds like its time to drop the old gen consoles and end updates for them so the new gen consoles can do what they are meant to do. you cant keep pandering to old school consoles leaving next gen to wait and suffer

my team had the first biggest raid on console when it first came out. had a 3 hour raid on our village of 10 people had over 30 people in the raid, 6 different groups join in it

Hey if Studio11/Facepunch or whoever develops Rust CE listens to you, tell them to fix bandit camp scrap exchange. If I have 1,000 hqm to turn in, I literally have to click X 1,000 times. Same goes for metal & crude… it’s going to wear out my controller 😅

My Xbox one S could handle the minis but ps4 would crash with minis. I have more skins on ps4 than i do on my Xbox one S.

I think it would be nice if we could purchase an additional downloadable version of rust and pay a monthly premium, so you would only be able to access this part. it’s not a server purchase but a part similar to, If that makes sense.

Cars are needed for farms because the good areas are super contested and the bad areas are well bad but the tanker can move water from point A to point B

i’m not sure how they’ll handle this. like with the current version of the game. exploring the map especially with the abuser player who built tons of building around their base makes the lag unbearable. prolly the rendering issue for the players outside of their range would likely get affected even for next gen console. it’s hard for me to raid people with huge bases not with how tough their defense is but how their base making our game extremely laggy. there are one time where my game was in complete froze and it was an advantage for them since it’s within their rendering area idk what is it called but that’s how i called it. so it’s run smooth for them to wondering around their area but it’s laggy for our side. hope this gets fixed

So you know how their is a part loot box in the scrap cars on the road side on console they just added a little hole in the car where the part loot crate gos

I kinda think we will get bigger maps but if bigger maps also mean we would need alest servers that can run more then 100 people. Like maybe 150 or 200. Like I think the next gen consoles could run 200 people in a server I mean look at battlefield 2042. You queue up with 128 people 64vs64. I think 128 or alest 150 but now that I think of it. Rending for older consoles. And imma become a member cuz I would really like to play with y’all. Would be cool. Sorry for it being so long. But the way they change how the game looks on ptb looks so good
