Yo, i just got a new xbox been more of a semi pc gamer after being an avid console player decades ago to which after playing pc for the last few years i totalllly get the pc gaming experience bar none.
That said, I’m beyond words how I never knew about rust until more recently and have being playing the console version of rust while LEARNING A LOT ABOUT THIS GAME.
I’m beyond lost for words the years THIS GAME has been around that I never knew about this game. This is absolutely the most craziest game ever and let me emphasize life sucking game I have ever played. My life no longer exists lol only in rust lol and i still don’t know how to play.

As well as watch a video on best settings for ps5 rust console, so you can have better FOV and sensitivity, and have head look, and you can turn off the gestures to stop accidentally hitting it. makes the game feel and look a million times better

You can disable quick chat gestures in the settings. I started rust on console beta and everytime i would get in a fight i would accidentally click the right stick too hard and open that menu. Used to piss me off so i got rid of it

Console is absolutely garbage and a new solo….. don’t bother playing it you’ll never be raided online, you’ll get destroyed buy groups constantly and it’s takes 3 times the amount of time to get comps. And these so many glitches still, I’m heart broken that other 3 months of playing I just keep getting off lines and rolled over by groups even after day 3 after wipe one group will pretty much run a whole server so now I gotta save up for a pc to play pc. Lol if you press option you can put free look on so you can run forward while looking behind you or around you also in options is how you make team. Clicking the left thumb stick down while pushing forward is how you run watching you walk so long was so hard for me lol. It’s crazy how many players you ran into that were just so terrible at the game I think I’m going to have to go on that server and slap them around a bit. Most players on console move very fast while killing eachother. Also never put oil refinery or large furnace on console until you have a compound down countless people out of pure anger and hatred will beat those till they break it with rocks.

There’s a few problems I had with your video and my reasons for that is you didn’t really In counter with anything players with guns and you didn’t go to any of the monuments that have scientists are my two only biggest dislikes about your vid because in the first like 5 seconds when you loaded into the game you died to a road scientist that was bugged and has been for months and the only reason I disliked you not going to a monument with scientist is because there all bugged and haven’t been fixed for months on end but I did in joyed the video it just didn’t cover any problem with the game and that’s what’s killing the console Version of rust like I’m not expecting it to be pc I just want it to be played and you maybe didn’t realize that your video is or can be one of the bigger coverage with console rust and it doesn’t show one of the countless bugs with the game and im not hating on the game I have 1200 hours in console rust and I love the game it’s just a problem when the games is unplayable and a video comes out and almost three hundred thousand people see it and it doesn’t cover any of the issues ruining a great game and I know your a pc rust player so I don’t expect you to know everything little problem with console rust but I just ask you dive a little deeper next time and experience the game fully and not just at a prim stage because videos like this id all us consoles players got to give us a little voice about how the game is because there’s only a handful consoles rust YouTubers and they don’t get seen as much as video from pc rust but I doubt you’ll ever see this or anything will come of it but worth a try hey maybe I can return to playing console rust one day when it’s not unplayable

Jordan your making the game look terrible. It looks miles better on new gen consoles. You need to change your sensitivity to at least 70% on your x,y axis. Turn the gesture wheel off. Change your field of view to 90%. Remap your LB to head look so you can look around. You need to set run to toogle aswell. Once you have done all that you will have a semi decent gaming experience. Would be nice if you did a follow up video because this video is not doing to console version justice.

Sad thing is I use my series s to play rust on geoforce. And coming from someone who only played console because I don’t have a pc. I wont go back yes, I had to teach myself how to use mouse and keyboard but I’ll never play rust on console again. I thought people made fun of the character model just to shit on the game but I quickly saw the difference but the major thing that turned me is the map size OMG the room you have the maps on console for 100ppl are so cramed. Oh yea bro console has no electricity I spent a month just playing dead servers just learning and testing and all around just checking everything out you can do on the pc version. Oh and on console u can hear boom from one side of the map to the other

There’s a lot of settings you have to change including turning off inertia and boost multiplier and you can disable quick chat which is your gesture wheel

It’s the shittiest game ever made. D11 is the worst dev of all time. Content promised 2 years ago almost still isn’t in. The game runs worse now than it did in beta. Facepunch needs to hire a new dev.

I play console all the time and no one talks unless it is trash talk and if you know how to play on a controller it is fun i have been play rust for almost a year and it is fun unless you run into the people that use zens and xims it makes the game not fun but the game is fun when you play with a good team and you are able to get a lot of guns and things like that it makes the game worth playing until you get offlined raided
