do the dev’s even play the game why are all the things they add pointless to how the game plays they are just trying to make money instead of adding things to make the game better for players who have played thousands of hours… its the same thing every time there are no new events or activities to get people going to one spot for loot… there is brad, Heli, Chinook, Oils, and cargo… crate is by far the best for pvp because anyone can go to it with minimal gear… heli and brad have pvp dont get me wrong, but its just not the same… oil should have rads so you can’t sit on it after the crate is taken and farm comps endlessly… or change the terrain, we dont need a battle bus , ppl want new guns, and things that make the game exciting not buyable DLC cause you are out of ideas ask the community…

One could take it to a Workbench do a Chamber and Barrel swap boom, now you got yourself a Water Pipe Single Break Action Rifle. Would be great as a cheap Early Game kind of just started Ranged Weapon.

Why would anybody buy the legacy bow? You can get straight to T3 in like an hour these days.

Legacy rust was the best rust known to man,once they went experimental they broke the game, making it virtually unplayable for people that don’t have a neat pc. Im actually the First guy to invent rock glitching in legacy, TP- to myself under a rock and you’d be teleported upwards and would have access to rocks,also got called out for being a cheater cuz i was so good w the p250 it was insane, Good ol legacy.. *Didn’t rock glitch b4 being called a hacker” lmao 🙂

Offset bunkers being patched is a bit tough, they were very nice for solos and groups alike in that they were a building priv only high quality metal floor shaped door that cost resources to lock every time. It helped solos out by providing a way to store loot in a convenient, secure and most importantly, hidden bunker whilst it helped groups for optimized hexa wing bunker designs.

Taking all of the rugs you can find and plugging all of the holes with them hahaha

Why roam with walls now when you can safely roam with a 600 wood workbench free craftable, where you can safely have time to heal and revive / place respawn bags mid fight and raid? Yeah imagine actually fixing aspects of the game that are killing it. It might still be moderately popular in the EU. It’s so dead in NA. One or two servers a week with high population, but they’re dead in 16 hours. You can’t compete on EU servers because the ping is bad and even when it’s okay, like 120-130ms you still get massive packet bursts when trying to fight or get near other people.

A few simple fixes. Have to fully unlock the full tree aside from vehicle stuff to get the next bench. No boom in crates. No end game weapons in VM’s for 3 days on weekly, a week on biweekly, and two weeks on monthly. They’re falling in the same ditch as every other online mp game. Core mechanics and gameplay health is taking a back burner while cosmetic and niche garbage take a 1000% uptick. Dumb AF.

These being used in pvp will be crazy

Simple fix for the shed is just have each player allowed only one at a time, and once it’s placed it begins a 12hr decay that can’t be stopped. The idea is to get a foothold on an area and if you haven’t managed that in 12hrs… well…

I hope the sheds stay. As a solo it will be invaluable to be able to place even a tiny shed down to not be killed. I completely expect 8-mans to ruin it for us though and whine that solos get any protection from them.

I stopped playing rust shortly after the Blueprint update lol. Insane to see how far it’s come. But I did like when it was simple.

As a solo, I love the new (old?) shelter idea. However, I’m worried this is going to be too game breaking. For instance, why would you use walls during pvp fights when you can just spend an extra 100 wood and craft this without a workbench AND you can safely hide in it for the most part. I can see people always carrying one of these and placing one down when they want to avoid a fight because it’s unfavorable for them and/or they have too much loot to risk or when they just won a fight and want a way to secure the loot that they can’t carry.

I think facepunch needs to think hard on how they implement this, I don’t think people fully grasp how game changing a shelter like this. Maybe make it so you can’t place one down if you’ve been authorized on a tc within the last 15-30min and you can’t authorize on another tc for 15min after placing this down. Even that will be annoying when as a naked starting out you sometimes run into a decayed base and need to authorize in order to pick up items. You definitely shouldn’t be able to have more than one of these down at any given time. They need to be sure that this shelter is only viable to use as a first “base” when starting out and not as a mobile safehouse whenever you’re roaming.

Oh look, Rust knows it’s dying so it’s adding FOMO items. That’s how you know a game is only for their players money. FOMO DLC.

No more stone triangles with TCs. BUT… you cant build off of them, so will be interesting to watch the various ways these things will be employed beyond just an off-the-beach house to store your first base resources.

That shelter seems like crap to me. Players will surely use it in combat to prevent you from stealing their loot when they find themselves in trouble. They should add more modules for the general construction. Instead of putting in an instant shelter, which will alter the pvp in a negative way. It’s bad enough that a player can put a huge wall on you, in the middle of combat, without now also having the possibility of locking himself in.
This month’s update is a very bad one.

I understand the shed is meant to be a cheap 1×1 with a door that cannot be expanded. That’s great as it adds a quicker safe spot to the game once it gets some sort of grief protection so people cannot block the door.
However, it has insane potential to be used to grief others and fp should think about a max value of shed entities that can be owned by one player.
it should also be more expensive. 2k wood sounds about right for something that has a door and blocks building in front of the door.

God, i remember in Legacy Rust, i built my house in Metal Valley, and this one guy kept trying to live in this hut near my home. Placed so many wooden barriers in front of his door to make him go away, but he was persistent.
Eventually offline raided me when i went to bed, by placing a spiral of wooden barriers to my upstairs window (which had no bars, i was new)

There is a lot of DLCs recently, it started to bother me a bit. I enjoy like to watch those updates even if i haven played this game in like a year or more, but it stating to be half a vid of basically ad for DLC and rest is bit of stuff and some speculations form changelog.

The frontier DLC cannot be re-colored like the shipping container skin is a huge RP miss

I think this new shed is definitly a game changer, it will be way less frustrating to play wipes as you would be able to just put it down fast istead of having to build a whole base, just to have a foot hold and get the initial things befor starting a main base.

And i don’t think this will be a problem, as if they put it to deacay fast or not, it will be easy to raid and it will give more usage to mollys 🙂
