You can do so much with them, and there is only one way in and one way out. You don’t have to worry About groups trying to use their rocket launchers to take out your roof and raid you from every direction. At least with a cave base you know where the threat is coming from.

I played rust once due to all of the rust youtubers i watch. A Russian 13man clan built 4 turret bases around my 2 by 2 because i killed one of their farmers. I couldnt enter or leave my base and i was called the n word over 50 times.
