I love the tug boat but it needs some hella tweeking.

The tug is pretty useless atm it takes less than 20 secs to destroy one with a sub, and torpedoes destroy all the buildables, so its not even viable as a respawn point much less as a base

They should really make high grade fuel and make these bigger vehicles require it

I took authorization from the tugboat and have been able to sail out. A day later this was no longer possible. The engine starts but it no longer moves, throttle stay at zero. I use the standard control keys. At the screen below I think I see [w] Thrust. I have no clue how to move it.
(it’s not stuck, boat is at open water)

To bad the new diver suit don’t provide air underwater! If you try to wear the air dive tank it takes the suit off of you so you can breath. Hope FP fixes this soon@@

I’d really like to see different terrains giving slightly different upkeep cost like is foundys r in water it would make upkeep a bit more which would push clans and people to find different base locations and so clans with massive bases cant just find the nearest beach and chuck down a base

I don’t understand at all why they’d bring out this new hazy skin, call it a diving suit, and it not provide oxygen to you so you can actually dive in it. That’s just so stupid….they need to fix this and give it an internal oxygen system just like when wearing a diving tank. It even shows the diving tanks on the back of the new skin….smh

Personally I think the diver skin should have a scuba tank slot, the lumber jack should of given a slight wood farming bonus and the Space suit a helmet mounted light. They could of kept the rad stats that the arctic suit has for it’s cold weather trade off. Its pay to win anyway so give them something useful.

I’d honestly be ok losing some rad protection with the Diving Suit if it gave better visibility underwater like you’re wearing a diving mask, and if you could also equip a diving tank, you know, so it could have some functionality underwater as a diving suit.

kind of a bummer the tug boat seems to be restricted to zergs with out a way to buy them

The main difficulty with the new water is that the waves and sea bobbing make it much harder to find bottles for the shipwrecks and body bags floating around. Looks stunning, though.

the light levels at ocean floor is way too dark now. even with a diving mask you can’t really see sharks until they’re already on top of you. as if sharks weren’t OP enough already.

My boat doesn’t do jumps off the waves, nor do they create a wake for oh i dono, some paddle board wake boarding?
Few errors will tugboats, one pointing downwards unable to be mounted and another with a 5/6 man that just lagged me out.
Fish swimming around in underwater labs, and it seems the whole hemp hack needs to be targeted with some sort of anti cheat, so players going from hemp plant to hemp plant are flagged by the system. Other then that was a pretty good start i suppose, but the toxic cheaters just ruining everyones good time as per usual.

As an ocean farmer I loved the update with the knife. Been waiting for it years ago when it was first mentioned (but not delivered). New water is cool. All that was ruined tho because now sharks are almost impossible to see

Ive been living in a boat and lemme tell ya, its so much fun, the inly time we ever go to land is to trade wt outpost and farm wood. Pil and underwater labs provide the rest resources wise

No one is actually going to build a base on the tug seems useless

tugs will be claimed 3 minutes into server wipe by 1 of the 15 twenty man zergs and be hidden behind 6 stone compound walls the whole wipe, only to be bought out when being manned by said twenty man zerg for oil and a mobile respawn point for raids near the coast

….. i best go back and take my tug out for a walk then….. brb

To be honest a diving suit would be the perfect hazmat that you can put diving gear into For ex. you can put an airtank in another sllot while wearing the hazmat (obviouslly not increasing armor%)

Honestly they should just make the oceans MASSIVE so you could go out far and hide your base at a random location in the water so it’s kind of hidden

Is it possible to drive the tug into a fishing village and make it unraidable? Or will there be something blocking the entry there or the village will just agro on you and start shooting the boat. Afterall you cannot buy it. (I am assuming you cannot buy it)

Imagine if they added tsunami events. I hope they add superstorms also where you can jump 20-40 feet in the air using the fast boats from high waves to the air. Biggest waves should be high enough to bash the guard rails at the bottom door of the lighthouse and cause damage to players in the way as it displaces them. It would be lots of fun.

if you have all 4 that spawn and put them in a safe zone, they cant be pushed since they can only be pushed by another tug boat and while they are in a safezone they cant be destroyed by explosives, therefor making an unraidable base
