Also, if you know where the Walmart is on 23 mile, in the winter I see those orange salt trucks pulling out from Napi drive over there. If any of my attempts at rust repair fail, I am holding those guys in the salt trucks responsible for messing up my restoration!!!

What brand did you use?

not only does the metal have to be prepped properly but ALSO you shouldn’t have the bondo left unpainted or unsealed or unfinished at all!

i see some people usually its Hondas (i don’t know why) but you’ll see them with the a fender or something that they repaired with bondo and its UNPAINTED!!! im like wtf?
any moisture that comes in contact with the raw unpainted bondo is going to absorbed into the bondo because its POUROUS! Why doesn’t ANYONE ever talk about this?

I bet you miss that car… I sold my 1973 340 Duster years ago and still regret it.

But there’s no way you drove it on salted roads after you repaired it. That’s my concern…if the original paint rusted around taillights and trunk edge, surely the repair will fail much sooner.

This eased some fears. Metal work is too expensive.

I knew you where a good guy from the way you do your work.,..but seeing your charger really confirmed it, l have four… a 71,…..two 74s and a 76….the one 74 is custom and has the 71 rear lights as I had extra ones and l liked the look thanks you’ve been a lot of help with your videos….and your making me do really well with my 72 dart i just did quarters on.

I will never use Lakeside Autobody because their ad covered up the video I was watching, and I couldn’t get rid of it!! Horrible.

Why did your Charger have 72 tail lights in it?. I had a 71 and a 73 and my brother had a 72, them tail lights looked like his.
