@Jade Monkey First off I want to say I enjoy and appreciate all you do for the rust community. Thank You! But I will have to disagree with you on this new recoil. I am a legit player with over 13k hrs on console. When it comes to pvp you need to be able to move, shoot, and control the recoil. Thats what separates a good player from a rat or grub😂. With this new recoil thats impossible with a controller. The only way to control the recoil is to be crouched. And thats with EVERY gun except Tommy and mp5. Now every player with very little skill can sit on there roof with a AK and beam the shit outta people. There is no skill gap anymore. I was so excited to play with the new recoil but now I don’t even want to play rust at all. I have my own server and ive literally used over 4k rds in almost every gun trying to control the recoil and its impossible to do standing with a controller. Ive had several people that have told me there done playing rust till they get the recoil buffed. This is killing the rust community probably worse or faster than the cheaters. The game has survived 5.5yrs with cheaters and im afraid this update will be the downfall for Rust Console. I hate cheaters as much as everyone else but if we’ve got to stop, crouch, and sit still to shoot someone then that makes us the easiest target to hit. Thats makes no sense in a survival game. The the best way to survive in the game now is to roam naked with F1 grenades. On PC this recoil is acceptable because it’s easier to control this recoil with a mouse vs a controller. And im sure there are people that are gonna use a mouse on console and I highly doubt it will be detected much like the scripts. Like we really didn’t need a recoil update to detect and ban people for using scripts. That a load of BS. Scripts literally have the same recoil every single time so how can it be that hard to detect. If your a legit player your recoil is not gonna be the exact same every single time. This recoil update has been a huge let down. Thanks Double Eleven!

I’ve found that you can get the rockets very easily. From launch site in the military ones.
The big Gray ones they have a high chance of spawn.
So running launch site multiple times can quickly net you a bunch of rockets.

The new recoil is a mess on console. It feels like aim assist is constantly messing up or something. Also the new movement animations are buggy ASF honestly makes the game feel trash.

I had an SKS in real life, the old ones had integral magazines and were loaded with strip clips, similar to an M1 Garand. I also had an M92, and my job right now is raffling off a Benneli M4 (Fayetteville NC, details if youre interested, raffle is in person only) 😂 lol i love how rusts guns are either perfect depictions of real life, or completely imaginary.

Why does a game have to be so good with the shittiest performance on wipe day of any game I play. At this point I don’t think Rust was meant to be on consoles
we upgraded to new gen to still deal with all the same bullshittt errors having to wait 3 hours just to finally play after all updates 🤦
