Anyone also think this was the worth the wait of ff16? Because ff15 felt a little disappointed due to the fact they took out lots of portion of the game. So far I think 16 is the best I’m having some fun with it.

I love FF but I don’t want enemies to be damage sponges 🧽 this is my only issue. I’d like them to be more responsive to my inputs, say I was wreaking havoc on an enemy on hard difficulty, the game should show signs of them being physically impacted by my moves. Allow for them to be able to break or hit you out a combo to allow balance etc

Sorry. I miss classic Squaresoft. These games are looking more and more like the other 100 open world titles in the market. Final fantasy is losing it’s soul. And M for Mature? That’s one way to alienate a young audience.

I am really impressed – like an interactive fantasy action movie. Great music, great graphics – and the combat system looks excellent! I consider buying a ps 5 for this game and maybe the new street fighter although I am usually a pc gamer. When is it released?

I want to welcome opinions, because I am divided and maybe someone can help me see what I am missing. Obviously like all FF games this looks incredibly engineered, I don’t doubt that mechanically it will be a masterpiece in its own right. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but i’m not really feeling the medieval stylisation and theme. I’m used to the fashion-steampunk derivatives and humour. This feels really dark and foreboding, which I love too, but reserve for dark souls type games. I welcome developers trying new things or shifting the theme, but doesn’t this just look too bleak and series for an FF title? Opinions welcome!
