This game is top tier! SE did a marvelous job! I absolutely am loving this game. My only bone to pick is the few ‘fans’ complaining about the lack of coloured people. It’s a fantasy story that took a bit of inspiration from a specific part of a culture. It’s their story not yours and they have the right to create whatever they want. Yes it isn’t historically accurate to some but there are many games that use historical people etc. And it isn’t factual and just over embellished like Konami’s Samurai Warrior series. Most the characters look like eye candy and does not represent the actual person properly. Has there been a witch hunt? No. If you don’t like that type of story then don’t play it. Many of the previous installments didn’t have people of colour, I didn’t see anyone complaining then. This whole inclusion/exclusion thing is just stupid and it shows how basic and fragile minded people are. We don’t care about the heartwrenching story, well developed characters and all that. All we want to know is where are the coloured people? Boo hoo go cry in a corner. Tell me you have major insecurities about skin colour but don’t want to admit it and are threatened by a game without telling me. Like again, ridiculous. And I’m a coloured person with a coloured mother and caucasian father and I ain’t out here hating on a game dynamic just because the whole cast is caucasian. I’m hella playing the game and enjoying every second of it. Some of yall people need help.

Am I the only one that misses final fantasy as a turn based JRPG where you can control all party members? Why does it always have to be a hack and slash action RPG in todays world. If I wanted that experience I’d go play God of War, just a shame that turn based RPGs feel like a thing of the past now.

The demo was both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it was absolutely amazing!! Quite possibly the best demo for a game I’ve ever played. On the other hand, it has made the last week or so of waiting for the full release almost unbearable!!

Is he gonna party wipe me because I don’t have wall/protect. Can anyone explain how we got this change? Game looks great, and the demo was engaging. But please please Square add a setting to centre the character on screen out of combat. It does not feel right and is distracting to me to have it off to the left. It feels like bad design, every time you walk in an enclosed space the camera is pressed up against the right side. Having the character on the side is usually for combat reasons, not just for the sake of looking cinematic, but it’s a game not a movie it would feel better centred. It would be the easiest setting to add to a game and wouldn’t affect anyone who likes it on the left.

The combat is giving me Bayonetta vibes for some reason.

From what I’ve seen in the trailers and the Demo that just came out, it seems like you can absorb or at least copy the abilities of the summons. I don’t know if Clive himself can be a summon, or Eikon as they call them. I can’t wait for the full release!

Trailers look good but we all know how trailers are for things. Hopefully this one is good because 13 and 15 were steaming piles of crap. I will say 16 looks interesting with interesting level mechanics and skills from what I have seen in demos so far. But the long wait for PC (my preferred system) of possibly 2 or 3 years and the more linear gameplay (from what I saw so far) takes it down a notch or two. If it opens up later on like 7 did then my only complaint is the VERY long wait for a PC port. But that’s just my opinion so take what you will from it.

Finally a game worth playing and watching, Reminds me of the good ol days when games were fun.

I know everyone is drooling over the year of next-gen graphics, but can we just appreciate how much better the audio has evolved, the sountracks, and my god the voice actors being able to deliver their true potential. I literallt felt that raw emotion of him yelling his lines 🔥
