People complaining about the 400k MGP that is very easy to acquire. Ask your FC to turn on MGP bonus. With the 10% FC buff fashion report once per week will give you 66k, giant cactpot at least 4500ish, gates happen every 20 minutes and give 3300 up to 19800 i believe for Slice is Right.

The weekly challenge log gives like 100k total. There are also other MGP buffs that give even more you can get them from GC squadron missions.

Incredibly easy to do.

Even tho the Outfit isn’t gender-locked…I wish Square would implement a few of the Outfits of the final fantasy women…

ugh. i really hope there isnt an mgp cost, considering they just had the regalia… i literally cheated with a story and lvl skip on one of my alts for that, because he happened to have the mgp at the time… now, not so much. i’d want this all on ANOTHER alt, who i didn’t lvl/story skip because he lacked the mgp… also, not very fair for all the new xbox players… im hoping it’s just a currency from fates, not tooo unlike the ff15 event, ESPECIALLY since it’s just a 1 seat mount… id even argue that it was justifiable for the regalia, being a multi-seat mount. personally, i havent played 16, but that armor set looks AMAZING… i REALLY hope they future proofed with the dual channel dying, because it looks GREAT for a Viper glam, but i’d use metalic green, and maybe a dark green in there somewhere… fingers crossed!

i was really hoping this page would confirm or deny the data miners saying the event items will cost 400k MGP.

Some tips for newer players for MGP farming;
-unlock the weekly challenge log if you haven’t, it’s in the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa, this is one of those “should be automatic/mandatory” things you need to do a quest to get so there’ll be a ton of guides explaining how to get it with a quick google.

-buy a “Wind-up Fafnir” minion off the market board (sorry free trial players!)

-unlock triple triad and the battle hall

-do as many of the Gold Saucer weekly challenge logs as you can, main focuses should be Triple Triad, GATEs, and “Lord of Verminion” where you can use the Fafnir to steamroll the “Little Big Beast” challenge, it’ll unlock as you do the challenges at a verminion table and takes around a minute per kill, so you’ll get your weekly 5 games pretty quick.

-fashion report!! this channel does videos about it every week, even.

-if you’re in a Free Company see about getting Jackpot II or Jackpot III active for farming, those’ll boost your MGP output from activities

-Chocobo Racing payout is only worth the effort if you really like it, if you don’t like it don’t bother, if you do then go have fun

-daily mini-cactpot adds up!

-Jumbo cactpot drawings every Saturday and the first real world hour has an output boost, it also adds up, but is mostly just a fun little ritual for most servers as we bask in our lack of winning numbers. speak to the npc attendant for the time.

As a race with a tail, I’m a bit concerned about the outfit, because usually they clip through and it doesn’t look that good, but from this picture it’s hard to judge if it’s a clipping through or if it’s the worse solution they’ve gone for: Delete tail D:

I was really hoping the boots were thigh boots lol but they look like they are the smallest of shoes and the pants are what I’m liking more. I was mainly wanting the sharp demarcations on a thigh boot for glam purposes hahaha

Anyway, assuming the FF15 event is anything to go by, the card will cost MGP (20,000 perhaps), but the music might just require you to turn in some kind of farmable event item. The mount and minion are kind of a toss-up. On one hand, the previous collab mount cost a bunch of MGP, but on the other hand, it would be kind of brutal to expect people to have another 200k MGP piled up after they just spent it all, as well as the fact that this one is a single character mount. If it does end up costing MGP, I would hope it costs far less.

i would have prefered a nice hatching tide over another stupid crossover…

My one wish, and I know it’s asking for a lot since we are already getting a lot here, would be for Jill’s outfit as well. Ever since I first saw it, and as a Red Mage main, I’ve dreamed of getting Jill’s gear. It would be so perfect. Maybe they can use it for one of the caster sets in the raids or trial series… probably not, but can hope lol

I loved FF16’s main story, fight scenes and overall visuals. The side quests however, were very underwhelming and brought the game down in my opinion. Regardless, it will be great to have Clive’s armor and Torgal in 14!

imagine doing a crossover for a game that most of the community hasnt had a pleasure of playing yet as its still PS5 exclusive and majority FFXIV players are on PC

I think when they first announced the crossover event they showed off an image of the WoL in Clive’s gear but instead of the chest being red it was blue. I might of fever dreamed that during my bout with covid though too so who knows, but if they didn’t showcase it earlier then that’s how I imagine you’ll be able to dye it. Change the color of the red fabric.

I was hoping for Jill glamour more than Clive’s but happy overall. Now to keep on raising that MGP so have enough for all rewards

it will be interesting if you will need alternate currencies to get things like the mount like ff15 required mgp for the car.

I would like to see if the Torgal becomes Fenrir for a brief moment within the game just like Clive becoming Ifrit and Jill becoming Shiva. I am excited for this event just like Final Fantasy 15. I believe it will be repeated just like Final Fantasy 15 cause FF15 is permanent side quest within the story arc.

As a fan of the main female protagonist in FFXVI I admit I screamed at the name of the glam set – and of course DOUBLE TORGAL just that makes the event worthwhile imo 😅💖 Regarding the MGP necessary for the items, the data mining determined the orchestrion rolls and the card are worth 400,000 MGP in total (which is about the amount you get from doing the FP weekly between now and the last weekend of the event): of these, the base price of the card is 200,000 MGP but I wonder if they won’t do it like for the FFXV collab and the price will drop while the event is ongoing?

My mount forever: Torgal. My minion forever: Torgal. And yes. I’ll pet them daily multiple times. Just like in FF16. If I can’t pet Torgal about 50 times in a row… it’s not a proper FF16 session.

It’s going to be great hanging out with Clive in my FF1 Warrior of Light Paladin glam.

Getting access to so many of the orchestration rolls from XVI is such a win for the event, will put a bit of a damper on my Blackjack (4 million mgp) farm but a hit I’ll gladly take.

The rewards are really nice, FFXIV collect indicate you need 400K MGP to get all orchestration scroll and TT card, shouldn’t be too hard if you have entire month.
