FF 16 has one of the best intros in the series!

i dont understand why everyone thinks the torgal heal heals you past the grey bar. they just keep hitting that thinking it does something.

I love that in having the VAs British they’ve decided to allow them to swear, the true British experience.

Like……….DAMN is this game brutal in the beginning! Now I know why the demo was 2 hours long and I DEFINITELY feel the Game of Thrones influences, including the two times we almost had a yabe scene and Calli freaking out lol. I mean wow the amount of the F word being used in this game is insane and it makes it feel like GTA at points. Combat absolutely feels like a DMC style and Calli’s commentary is spot on. That said, I do miss the blue screens for the pause menu like most of the other games but at least we still have Chocobos. Finally the story is indeed pretty dark, but there are some moments where the dialogue can relax a bit, meaning not nearly everyone is an edgelord……That said screw Clive’s mom! But either way, amazing job with the stream Calli and can’t wait for you to tackle more of this game! Also BOY MY WOUNDS lol!!!! And British Amalee is a MUST from now on.

I really hope she sticks with this because she may be onenof the better streamers playing this. Reading all the lore, the tutorials, paying attention to the game, she’s already doing more than most.

If you want to grind off stream with side quests for fun and to practice I’m told that the important side quests have a Green + for them rather than a ! marker. So you can feel free to do any and all ! side quests off stream without worry.

I had so much fun watching this. It’s so different than other FF games but still a bunch of fun. I didn’t expect it to go so dark, that’s crazy. I am loving this game so far and I’m glad you’re playing this since it’s not on PC until next year and I don’t have a PS5. This stream was a nice amount of story and gameplay, I’m sure good for vod gang too.

My first Final Fantasy was 9, and to this day it’s still one of my favorites in the series. 5 and 10-2 are also pretty high up there. So perhaps that explains why I’m fairly sour after seeing this M rated action game. I’ll try to take it in stride and judge it for what it is instead of what I wish it was, but that’s going to be difficult.

Nonetheless, I can’t deny that it’s doing a pretty decent job with the story, and the graphics are nice as well. You clearly seem to be having fun, so go wild and enjoy this game the way I wish I could
