3 months of pure bliss. 160 hours, and a platinum trophy later I’m feeling myself drift away from the game. And on to other ones this Tuesday. FF16 is one of the best games I’ve ever played, in my top 5 for sure. I adore this game despite it’s shortcomings. Watching this made me tear up as I thought of all the good memories I’ve made and how much of an emotional impact this game has had on me in some of the worst times of my life.

When I saw the book named « Final Fantasy » … I cried so much… with the theme… Beautiful game

is the ost the same as the ending in final fantasy XV??

I was taken by surprise by the scene and the music itself in the game. It makes it sound like the trio is really going for a “heroic sacrifice”. 😭

There are many different versions and reprisals of the main theme that are played throughout FF16. One of my favorites is a version that is all cellos in a minor key that’s played during the run up to Drake’s Spine. It’s chilling and foreboding. So good.

What’s the name of the theme that appears by the end of the combat music and in one of the trailers?

Please someone tell me what the name of the other version of this song that’s a faster beat is called? That’s played in every FF before a major fight. Thanks!

Just finished ff xvi and this arrangement from Soken makes me so happy and tearful his music really is incredible.
Such a fantastic game. Cant wait to hear the next arrangement of the main theme in Final Fantasy 17 in 20 years!

I was eager to hear this song in it’s FULLNESS later on, we just had a glympse of this epic track sadly 🙁

Better then all the other songs in the game, but that’s basically a given. Hard to beat the main theme. That being said, this is a really nice arrangement of the og.
