This ring honestly should have come later in the game. It’s that good. I have yet to replace it because it’s so good for a little burst and will damage.
FF16 is still too easy. I never had much trouble and haven’t died once. biggest challenge has to be the Hugo/Titan boss fight by far; where I came very close to dying. A hard mode should have been added to the game. Also, the quicktime events are way too generous with how much time they give you.
It has been hard for me to replace this ring since.

A few non spoiler tips:
For abilities, you should first get:
– Burning Blade (Air Combat is a thing and this is a launcher)
– Preciscion Dodge Upgrade
– Stomp
– Magic Burst Upgrade (increases the window)
– Before you get upgrade Eikon Abilities, get all of Clive’s normal stuff
Use Pheonix Shift more often, in can gap close in situations where the Lunge ability can’t, and is one of your best friends when combo-ing.
If you haven’t noticed already, the combat is meant to be very similar to DMC, so go in with a similar (but not the same) mindset.
Magic Burst isn’t always required but its generally more useful against larger enemies due to the extra Will damage.
Try to listen to chat tips unless there are spoilers.
Oh nooo why didnt it explain it had a different animation style I sold it because it simply said strengthens perfect dodges 😭
If you got into the habit of playing every side quest you encounter you can get the ring almost as soon as you unlock the board and renown shop( you will have to do a story quest or 2 to have enough,but thats not hard either)
