This Odin is the most imposing, fearsome and regal of all his ff counterparts. Not only he’s a kaiju in size but how rides in the air, his horse, the heaviness of his movements, that merciless slash; his majesty is a king through and through. I wish we had more of him in the game

I’d just like to point out, Bahamut seems to be the only entity that was capable of straight up stopping Odin’s slice with his claws. Odin’s sword is capable of cutting anything, as demonstrated.

He literally cut Clive out of Ifrit during their fight (Or “killed” Ifrit and severed Clive’s connection to it temporarily, depending on interpretation), but here Bahamut straight caught the sword with no ill effects whatsoever.

When I first saw this it was like, “sure another game with ok big flashy fight, whatever”. Its like so out od context that was meaningless for me. But then, hours into the game getting to know the world of the game the conflicts, and this characters, Dion and Barnabas, this hits totally different.

If FF16 fails in sales…. it’s not because the effect off FF7 Rebirth release… it’s because FF16 loses its “SquarevFF” tones..
