One of my favorite things about this game is that torgal is a character all of his own he’s not just a companion. He has his own story and interactions with people. The developers gave him so much love 🥰

if you alternate swing and magic it builds up higher damage into an explosion, Also air combos charge your eikon abilities faster as well as if you are higher up the crash down does more damage.

Might want to try the Ring of Timely Focus instead of the Evasion one, it slows down time so you can hit dodge yourself instead of it doing it for you so it feels more involved and also the time slow down looks and feels cool. Can always swap back if you don’t like it, or experiment with some of the other rings. The auto-combo one is good too for automatically using abilities when needed. It’s not going to always give you the best results/combos but if you’re not someone that enjoys strategizing and figuring out what move combinations to use when and where, it’ll generally do better than just spamming and it feels nice. Either way, play however you enjoy and have the most fun with, but they’re worth giving a try to see if you like it or not. The developers decided to have the rings instead of difficulty settings because different people like or find different things that are easy or hard, so you can customize the difficulty not just by how hard or easy the game is, but in which specific ways, what do you want to do yourself and what do you want the game to do for you. Some people might want to do all the fighting on their own but sometimes forget to heal and don’t want to have a game over because they weren’t watching their HP, so the auto potion one may be all they want. Some people like myself forget and don’t want to micro-manage what Torgal does so I use that ring so he does his own thing.

Not gonna lie my first reaction to Cid was blushing, giggling, kicking my feetsies. They did a whole number with his character design with the low cut shirt and the leisurly stroll and the dual swords and then also gave him THAT voice?? Rude. Your ‘I have another boyfriend that glows blue too!’ made me so happy! How do you say? Just like me, for real.

Heard a lot of people say the story was bad and the only thing good was the combat, but I loved the story. Like, I probably like this one more than any other final fantasy game, in terms of both story and game play. Also, Cid is the greatest character! I love him
