Fucking CHAD character and theme all around

This is one of the most “final fantasy” tracks I’ve heard in a while. The main melodies legit sound like they could’ve been in the early games in the series.

I find the scene at 3:05 great, Clive and Joshua reunited after 15+ years, both in the Eikon forms standing by each other as they always should have, brothers in arms fighting together. The the looks of assurance they give each other before staring down Bahamut, ready to take him down.

The beginning of this song reminds me of the music from the Four Fiends battles

So these three had the best tracks. Clive (Find the Flame), Joshua (Away) and Dion (Ascension). Soken…I have no words.

Soken keeps finding new ways to bring back elements from classic Final Fantasy musical leitmotifs Uematsu created into beautiful songs bringing new life for more players to enjoy listening to, much like how the Phoenix is associated with rebirth. This theme nicely comes back across XVI’s story moments defiantly.

I really like how he must’ve thought of using the rising and falling arpeggios from the simple yet iconic Prelude for this theme. I love the Eikon of Fire’s theme so much, it’s stuck with me since I first heard of it. Thank you for this upload!

I cant get over this theme, especially that beginning and how it just builds up the tension and grand scale of what you are about to witness. Perfect for the opening to this game and for this fight. Beautiful, powerful theme.

Honestly, I just about burst into tears when the boss fight suddenly became panzer dragoon. What a breathtakingly cool fight

Bumping this track right before I shower. If I close my eyes, the music will transport my consciousness into space as if I too, am dancing along with these glorious Eikons!

This makes me think on if josh was the main character how would the battle theme be. Lucky clover clives eikons battle themes are like his regular battle theme

I love how Phoenix has its own Eikon battle theme, since we also hear this song when Joshua’s fighting Ifrit in the prologue.

Dude there is just something about this game, Joshua being built up as a sickly character, and when he turns into the Phoenix you immediately think he’s gonna die so the moment becomes super dangerous and you question whether or not Joshua can survive the transformation. This game has me so invested into the characters, it’s insane. Masterpiece game and soundtrack, no doubt about it.

I just cannot believe how epic this music is.

Bro the fact that they reference this battle with Godzilla and Mothra vs Ghidorah from Godzilla King of the monster’s is even more crazy yooo. I just got done with this boss fight and mann I never had so much fun with this game BROO

I really like the part at 2:31 because it reminds me so much of the quiet breaks Soken likes to insert in XIV music.

This fight was so FFXIV it was absolutely CRACKED. If XIV was a single-player game, this 100% would’ve been how the Seventh Umbral Calamity and coil went.
