Beautiful game world final fantasy all seria 10/10

it would be amazing if FF17 is set in Ivalice and Matsuno/Hiroyuki Ito would work on it right now in secret! that would even explain why Matsuno is not involved with 16 despite the fact that Yoshi P is a huge fan of him…

I thought they already developed the last ivalice game? Why add another one?

Now the names of the protagonists are released. Im pretty sure that the main character is not Ifrit.
Main Character- Clive Rosfield
Phoenix Dominant- Joshua Rosfield
Girl- Jill Warrick
Now, Joshua and Jill are names associated with god. Joshua= Lord is my salvation and Jill=Child of the gods. The main protagonist last name is Rosfield, or Rosefield. A Rose symbolizes God’s love. Literally, Joshua’s full name means God is my salvation and God’s love. While Jill Warrick is Jill =Child of the gods and Warrick is = Town near the river so just based on her name, im 100% confident that she a dominant It’s either Shiva or Leviathan. Now going back to the main character, being not Ifrit, his name Clive = Person who lives near a cliff and based on the artwork released, the castle is built on a cliff. Based also on the character profile from ff16 official website says “Clive’s promising career is to end in tragedy at the hands of a mysterious dark Eikon, Ifrit, setting him on a dangerous road to revenge” So Im guessing The main protagonist will end the reign of crystals and dominants, and will rule the new kingdom without magic or Eikons. Ifrit’s Dominant is still in the shadows and yet to be revealed

Not gunna lie. Out of all the FF ive played, this ones setting looks uninteresting. I only enjoy the medieval look in Dragonquest oddly enough.

I hope the manly looking version of the main character that’s being advertised isn’t only available past the point of no return (cough cough FFXV).

I don’t think Akihiko Yoshida is involved. Just compare the character-design to Final Fantasy 12, Tactics, and Vagrant Story. Neither his typical way of designing armor (More grounded) nor his way of designing character faces and hairstyles is present here.

It’s quite honestly very generic in comparison to his work. This is the only thing that bothers me about 16 and I don’t think it will be addressed before the game is launched.

This may be the first final fantasy I like since X. Oh don’t worry there are no hopes. At least it looks like a Sakaguchi final fantasy and not a….Nomura final fantasy….maybe Nomura is finally realizing what makes a good final fantasy game.

All I can say is please, PLEASE, just make a good final fantasy game. We can’t risk another half baked overly produced unfinished experimental mess. We were so close with 15. So much potential with the lore, magic and combat systems but none of it was developed with any awareness of each other. It’s final fantasy, we don’t need to rewrite Shakespeare

Knights and factions fighting on top of chocobo’s has had a presence in every ivalice final fantasy. The cover art of tactics is even this so I strongly feel this title will take place in the world of Ivalice which is super exciting!

As a Final Fantasy fan, this is not what i hoped for, this is like a triple a games, it looks like a triple a game to me and well this is not final fantasy anymore. i’m sticking with the old ones, they have somehow lost the core formula of what makes a final fantasy game unique. But that is just my opinion.

Ok. Just from the trailer. I feel like FF16 and FF15 are connected. And i LOOOOOOOOOOVED FF15. So if it connected, I CAN’T WAIT! Although. I dont think FF16 is gonna take FF15 in first place. I loved FF15 WAY to much

While I am beyond hyped for this, I do hope they slow the combat down a bit. I feel like FF can pull off full action combat, that’s still smart as long as everything isn’t exploding on fire at 95mph. I feel like Dragon’s Dogma really nails that pacing. It’s got beefy combat (and magic!) that requires strategic thinking in the moment as well as some pretty hefty resource management.

I know I am dreaming but I really hope Hiroyuki Ito is working on a Final Fantasy 9 remake. I remember I heard rumours at around 2017 that FF16 and FF9 remake was in early-conception development. I thought that was just a random rumour at that time as the FF15 DLC is in a mess and FF7R are still “missing” at that time. However, with the reveal of FF16 now it seems that rumour might not bullshiting. If so, I think it is at least not that unrealistic to think an FF9R is in development now.

People 2 weeks prior: they’re gonna reveal FF16

These are great insights. I hope there are some connections with the new game and the Tactics series or Ivalice. It’s clearly taking a more traditional medieval fantasy approach. Given the developers’ history with the Tactics games, I’m hoping we see a return of classic FF job classes, and maybe a more traditional approach to equipment with different weapons, shields, armor pieces, and accessories. I really like this idea of the characters and summons having such a strong connection as well. Maybe we’ll see an evolution of the land of summoned monsters like we saw in FF4 or FF6.

Thinking of the party system. It would be so cool if other people who bought the game could optionally join you on your quest and you could group play the main storyline. Pipe dream but would be really cool

I KNEW IT. That is quite brilliant to me, and honestly…it’s pretty exciting for me. While I personally doubt a redesign of Rydia of Final Fantasy IV fame would make it into Final Fantasy XVI and its narrative focused around summoning Eikons, I do know that if Joshua, possibly from Vagrant Story*, is in the game, there’s definitely possibilities for Rydia.
Also, perhaps Terra as an Eikon or Dominant or perhaps a weird amalgamation of both. Ya never know! A lot could happen…
Still, this is incredibly exciting for me. Thank you for this video!

OK, I’m beginning to think we’re getting the famous cataclysm in Ivalice.

Ifrit has been my Guardian Force since FF8, and is always my favorite summon. At least I don’t get cheated out of his appearance this time, but if he’s evil again and not on my side i’m going to be heart-broken.

So. I seem to be the only person I know that got the impression that joshua’s shield bro and tattoo face are different characters. Like to me the way that trailer plays out is tattoo face comes and kills Joshua for whatever reason his group is aiming to kill dominants, like how they aim to ONLY kill shivas in that first part. And Joshua’s shield aims to kill him for that. And for some reason we play both of them.

They also released new figured of vagrant story at tokyo game show…coincidence?!

I’d hate to see the magic system reduced to Dissidia-esque ranged attack, but it does seem like it.

The only thing I wish they had revealed in the trailer was the main protagonist’s name… unless they go back to FFI and FFIII’s formula (I hope they don’t).

“Icons” in Japanese were spoken as SHOKANJU – the universal FF code for summons. But it’s on the fence whether they’ll be playable summons or FF15-like summons that only interact with the plot.

I think Joshua is just going to be the Phoenix. I believe someone else is Ifrit and this person will be the one the main hero will be seeking. My other personal prediction is that we are going to see the main hero be maybe a product of an affair. Which could explain his blue mage like skills (similar to Joshua’s in that he can sort of summon classic FF summons) and why he has an important role in the court, but doesn’t seem to have the same status as Joshua does. These are just my thoughts.😉

Thank god it’s going back to a fantasy setting. That’s usually the setting that comes to mind when I think of FF. I always wanted to go back to the world of Ivalice as it’s my favorite world in the Final Fantasy Universe, but with the death of the Ivalice Alliance, I was starting to lose hope. Glad at least the Ivalice vibe will be alive in this next game. I can’t wait.

I need this game. I can’t stress it enough, this will most likely be my favorite FF.

I’m just really very angry that’s square enix didn’t use their in-home engine. to tell you the truth the graphics in this game are not nearly as good as final fantasy 15. That’s a big disappointment for me. They should not have used the unreal engine. Just look at the graphical difference between the two games and you’ll see what I mean.Final Fantasy 15 characters look like real people and these ones don’t, the graphics are just not as good.
