Seems like the one guy is the only playable character in this? If so, that makes this another instant fail. Not surprising, given SE’s recent track record. Playable or not….the characters in this really suck. Generic dude, generic girl, generic “handsome” dude & a dog? Huge let down.

This game is already overhyped like FF15 was. It looks bad, it looks bland, the characters are generic and females are almost borderline ugly or look like they are almost 40 (Jill Warrick & Benedikta). The fact that it is developed by the FF14 team caused nothing but harm to this game because paypig nerds with consoomer mindset just drool for everything.

Psudeo joking aside; this game looks more and more promising though I refuse to give into hype ever again. I’ll be darned before I fall for another VS XIII. Anyroad, in addition to the DMC-esque combat (I have nothing against turn based, but when given a choice, I will always choose real time free action), I like the idea that you get to channel your Inner Caius and become your Summon. Curious how that works in game and, more importantly, the story. Odin was already pretty cool, but I’d like to see a Bahamut Dominant too.

Torgals UI art is freaking beautiful. I just hope they decrease the size of the health bar a little bit. It feels like it takes up too much space. But in general I like the bottom part of the UI.

Please bring back gambit system, job system and job skill trees like in FFXII

I love the fact that the party members we’ve seen in the trailer not only represent the first three summons you get in almost every FF game(Ifrit, Shiva and Ramuh) but also the three major elemental class spells(fire, ice, lightning). It’s such a simple yet cool little thing.

FFXVI is the only Final Fantasy game I’ve been excited about since FFX.

I mean, I was excited for FFXV but that game was a massive disappointment.

The first one in the franchise, I am hope more titles from Square Enix japan can hace this feature.

I am extremely excited for FF16 it looks incredibly spectacular, and in my case I am from Latin America, and this will be the first game with Latin dubbing so I am excited to enjoy it for the first time With a dubbing, it shows that it is done with a lot of love and it will probably be the best or one of the best FF to date

I wonder if your skill tree will remain unchanged after time jumps as Clive ages. Or what if adult clive suddenly has several new surprises in his skill tree that the player didn’t directly upgrade/earn? That’d be kinda cool to be excited to infer what he has been training on in the years between time periods .

It’s heartening to know yoshi-p used this reference to FF Tactics, which indirectly also referenced to FFXIV, his love labor.
I’m very sure we’ll find more refefences in-game and as a long-time FF fan, I’m all for it.

I want it to look cool and function well to give you a sort of satisfaction as you fill it out. ..the crystals are the ones causing the blight, dominants are created by the crystal to protect them from humans in case they find out. Yes, the lands around the crystal are more fertile but this may only be so since they are “sucking” the resources towards them. Without the crystals, all of the lands would be fertile and resources abundant everywhere.

Actually, the circle reminds me of the Zodiac Job selection menu from FF XII. I chose to make Vaan a Machinist. I thought it was hilarious with him yielding a big rifle from the 1800s.
