I think 16 is going to have multiple volumes (endings). Right now, we have issues or expansions (DLC) to expand the world and give change to the main story.
I think the story is changing with each and every New Game and new game mode with the expansions. There is going to be newer ones as each boss you approach have different effects on the story along the way.
Good, it’s finally done, unlike stupid 15 that goes on and on. Now we just need to wait patiently for “DMC 7”
They should do a Gilgamesh DLC, but he’s not in every FF like FFX
The only things I liked about the DLC was the Leviathan boss fight and the reveal that the dominant was a baby but other than that, it was pretty meh. It was basically the same thing we got in the main game and no development on anybody. It was kind of like Shula was the star in this DLC than any of the main characters were and she’s just a guest character. Sometimes I don’t even understand why Joshua and Jill are even required to be there for the DLCs when the developers just sidelined them the whole time. Might as well just let Clive go alone since he’s a one man army a lot of the time anyway lmao.
I’m not surprised at all that the developers completely lied about Jill getting anything in the DLC. They already admitted that they knew that the players wanted to see more on other characters other than Clive in the game, so I just knew they were just using Jill in that interview in order to try and gain sales on the DLC. Too bad it didn’t work because I actually heard that the DLC didn’t even sell much and not many people played it, so it serves them right.
I’m more upset about them lying to the fans about Jill than I am about her not getting anything. I already knew they were lying but it ain’t right for them to use Jill as a lure and try to take advantage of the fans like that in order to get more money.
I love this game but I was really hoping this dlc would be after the final fight and give Clive a happy ending for once since the last place you see Clive is on the beach it would’ve made perfect sense especially since he promised Jill he would come back for her
FF16 is my favourite FF personally. I love action combat.
I actually enjoyed this game more than ff7 remake
I really gonna remember Final Fantasy XVI and probably listen back at OST while reminiscing Eikonic fight taking place in the game
One of the memorable game I ever played
Them not clearing up the ambiguous ending and giving clive a W is such a disappointment to me
Ok so quick question? Seeing as ff16 never resolved the world ending part. Does that mean we get a sequel that covers that part? Or is the real ending true and none of events actually happened and everything is just a bedtime story.
I was only sad 1. That during the final boss clashes they didn’t add a water energy clash like “torrent unrelenting!” 2. And obviously that there wasnt an alternate ending having all 8, 9 eikons. Loved Ultima’s gift though
About ff16’s graphical environments….. they are basically corridors that look nice. I think the area should have been more open world. I do love leviathan’s ranged shotgun since i can burn through stagger gauges and take out mobs easily since it can easily break guards and shields to.
FFXVI gave me an experience that i will treasure for the rest of my life
a random nitpick of mine is the ruins of jill’s people, i figured jill’s homeland would be a little colder and less like a jungle?
You can play the rising tide without echos I did both in order on my NG+ then went back and did them in reverse on my og save. As long as you are right beofre the final battle we can play either dlc in any order.
The ending of this game destroyed me, I cant bring myself to replay or enjoy DLC knowing what happens in the end.
Ppl complaining bout the price n shit. Bros its a whole new area some new things a whole ne boss fight and not one but TWO new eikon abilities and the second is ridiculous all 4 20 bucks, why are ppl complaining that shit crazy????
3:00 personally, I think that was the Best Approach! A Simple narrative with a Really (pardon my French) Fucked up Twist about how a Baby is Forced to spend Decades trapped in a State of he cannot get out of! 😮😢
That’s what makes this new added Chapter compelling! You WANT to undo this Horrendous SIN committed against him!
Kairos Gate 🤝 Bloody Palace
Just finished platinum for this game and 100% on dlcs, has been a good run, specially omega fight. though i still think it could had been waaaaaaaaay more. after bahamut fight the game doesn’t feel the same to me.
Great video and great conclusion! 🎉❤ I really hope for more XVI contents, I love this game too much!
Now that you mention Elemental blades I had an idea for a Gilgamesh DLC for 16.
It more or less involves Clive going up against Gilgamesh and that in 16 Gilgamesh was Ultimas attempt to artificially create Mythos. And during the boss fight we see Gilgamesh using eight different weapons corresponding to each Eikon including Leviathan. And then for the final phase of the fight he pulls out on 9th weapon that’s supposed to be Ifrit/Ultima
Is it wrong that I want to revamp of the final fight with Ultima but with him using leviathan’s power. Waves Unbound
But at the same time they could have easily made some kind of connection between her and the assumed extinct Motes of Water
Words cannot express my heartbreak at the revelation that the medicine girl isn’t leviathan’s dominant
