When you do play it again, make sure to get more abilities from the start menu. They don’t tell you, but they were available for unlocking since the beginning of the goblin quest.
Enemy Stomp, the Charge Attack (Burning Edge I think?), that Thrust Attack, and the falling air move are all pretty good for opening up the combat. Your Phoenix Dash is also great for chasing airborne enemies. The game can become Devil May Cry real damn fast.
