Still no release date for Rising Tide?

The water element is gonna be the most badass. New water based moves and that complex technical ffxvi engine❤.

Seems like a missed opportunity not to add a new ending because with Leviathan, Clive’s basically a `complete` vessel and should have enough power to cast the spell without having to die.

There isnt anything ambiguous about the ending clive turns to stone and dies.

that sucks because the ending was terrible. they really lost the plot after the bahamaut fight

I actually dislike what they made with this part of the game but in the next one Aerith and Tifa interactions will be missed. They made this game for me. Btw I really think Aerith giving friendzone vibes to Cloud is because of what Tifa told her offscreen.

No new endind… that’s a shame.

I was hoping that while on the boat we would have gotten some flashbacks of TIfa’s and Aerith’s conversation from A Trace of Two Pasts.
I really hope they decide to give us some DLC for the trilogy and remake Before Crisis.

It feels so weird how much attention to detail they put, how lovable the characters are, and how it contrasts with that clusterfuck ending that had to represent one of the most well know scenes in the video game industry, and how much they bloat it with random BS until they make it way worse than the original.

I think they did a great job depicting the relationship between Aerith and Tifa. They also nailed it with Cloud and Tifa. However, they did a terrible job with Cloud and Aerith. Aerith is unquestionably the heroine of this part and deserved more affection than what the devs gave her.
