I don’t know what anyone’s says. But FF16 has to be one of the best FF games gameplay wise. The Eikons Fights always kept me on the edge of my seat.

Gave me Godzilla/Attack on Titans fight vibes. Which are both successful franchises.

What I like about this fight is how it shows you that Clive isn’t in control. The movement is all sluggish compared to the rest of the fights where Clive was in control and his movements were much faster and smoother.

It would help if I could actually see what was happening and the screen wasn’t shaking 24/7

Looks like they FINALLY made another Final Fantasy worth playing. I’ve been waiting since Final Fantasy 9 for another good one to come out.

Most of the Eikon fights are pretty memorable but this is arguably my favorite. I think the sheer brutality of the combat between Garuda and Ifrit just really highlights the realities of war. The battle with Bahamut is epic but this is so visceral.

Concordo su un sacco di punti, nel mio caso il problema più grande del gioco è rappresentato dalle parti riempitive nella main quest, che spesso sono poco ispirate, o perfino noiose a volte. Tutti gli altri problemi che avete elencato sono presenti senza dubbio e anche abbastanza evidenti, ma fortunatamente non mi hanno pesato per nulla di fronte ai GIGANTESCHI pregi della produzione (che avete elencato alla perfezione).

Riguardo alla musica avete fatto qualche errore. Il tema di Clive, Jill e Cid esistono eccome… quello di Cid c’è alla sua prima apparizione e anche in tante altre sue apparizioni, quello di Clive è meno presente ma c’è (e viene richiamato in altri temi), quello di Jill viene inserito inizialmente al pianoforte nella scena del balcone, poi in modo orchestrale quando si vede shiva la prima volte, e con tante altre variazioni più avanti, proprio quello di Jill è molto presente e anche cantabile, mi ha ricordato un tema da vecchio ff.

Altro errore: ogni fight con gli eikon ha il suo brano UNICO, assurdo che viene detto il contrario. Gli scontri con il dominante hanno spesso lo stesso tema (bellissimo), ma quando si trasformano c’è sempre un tema unico (Quello di Bahamut è il mio preferito).
Concordo però sul fatto che un sacco di brani non sono cantabili e memorabili come le ost di Uematsu, soprattutto quelli di sottofondo nelle ambientazioni che perdono abbastanza rispetto i vecchi FF (seppur sono belli, ma il confronto è con un mostro sacro), ma al contempo esistono dei temi tra i miei preferiti della saga, e quando Soken vuole essere epico ci riesce alla perfezione, a mio avviso anche più di Uematsu.

Mettere la colonna sonora tra i contro del gioco (come ha fatto Mario) lo trovo davvero esagerato, comprendo il punto di vista e in parte sono d’accordo, ma la OST non può figurare tra i difetti del gioco secondo me 😅

How do you get that framerate? My ps5 struggles with this.

Game is great but damn, it lost its identity. Felt like I was playing a mix of devil may cry’s combat and dragon age origins’ open world/theme/interactions along with limited items/equipment. Plus side quests so far are bland compared to ff15

Haven’t played the game yet, but this is how it seems to me due to story. Is Ifrit the strongest Eikon of all in this game based on story?

Had this fight yesterday and it blew me away. The whole thing gave away major Godzilla and Aot (the regenerating limbs) vibes. Played a lot of ff games (7,8,9,10,12,15, remake) but this one is really different but in a good way.

I love how this is a fight and not just a curbstomp. Garuda was making changes in how she fights to try and win. Switching from long range to acrobatics, using bird legs, and talons to get an advantage. This was really fun to watch.

I’m seriously not impressed with Final Fantasy 16: Devil May Cry. EDIT: Ok the storytelling isn’t half bad, the weapons, armor and spell systems are just smooth brained even compared to Final Fantasy 1- 15 EDIT: Could also be called Final Fantasy : Cut Scenes. EDIT: Ok I take it back, story was pretty bad ass. Gameplay still needs a little more to it but then again I’m a huge souls fan.

To bad it’s not on PC 🙁 . Pffft either new games are really bad made with stutters and bad performance or only available on playstation.
