“When worlds merge…” I am thinking this is evidence that the universe where Zack lives is going to intersect with the universe of the Remake continuity. I am so curious to find out why that is important for Sephiroth… maybe because that means there will be two of him or because he can better take advantage of Zack-lives Cloud? I can’t help but feel like Sephiroth is a multi-dimensional being in this continuity, meaning there is only one of him. He definitely seems to know about the other universes. Aerith and Cloud seem to get glimpses too.

While the gameplay of Remake actually really isn’t that bad, the plot changes are just a huge punch in the faces of their fans. The original story was all about life and death. Now it’s just messing around with timelines, destiny and everyone gets revived. Besides that: No, you will not be able to breed your chocobos. You will only get the playable characters and nothing more than what you can see in the trailer. The focus will guide you away to goofy and irrelevant side stuff. It’s Square Enix as it always was; after the credits rolled, you will forget all about this game. So stop hyping me with this garbage and really start creating something with heart. It’s all about dazzle and marketing. Why do you hate what made you great?

Seems like it ends before rocket town. Probably ends at nibelheim. That means you’re going to have rocket town, Wutai, city of the ancients, icicle inn, the first crater, temple of the ancients, mideel, bone town, midgar again, and the final crater all on one game. It’s gonna need three discs and they should probably make it a four part game instead of a trilogy.

I’m 40 years old, I played the original in 1997 when it was new. It quickly became one of my favorite titles ever. To see this game being remade into a trilogy on modern hardware is absolutely mind boggling and awesome and a total trip to have witnessed. I’ve been gaming since Atari 2600, watching it evolve to what it is today and having grown up alongside it, has been incredible to say the least. I’ve literally seen it all and I’m not done yet 😎

I pre ordered the Remake and was totally let down. Not making the same mistake again. So what happened to the whispers? all of a sudden they no longer exist and the final boss already got smoked at the end of the Remake, what a joke, Final Fantasy Remake was a big let down for my personal experience but to each his own.

Rebirth is two bluray discs long, and the main story still only seems to get to somewhere around the end of Disc 1 of the original PS1 version? 😀
