ff16 for me is the best, ilove the story, graphics and the main protagonist is badass!!! the only bad thing is no party members like the traditional jrpgs,

Final fantasy xvi was good in my eyes. Not the best one out them all but it was different. It was dark but it is not for everyone. I been playing final fantasy games for 30+ years . If you miss the old school turn base then it is not for you. But it’s not a bad game. I would say before you judge it try the demo out to see if it’s for you.

This is THE BEST Final Fantasy yet. A FF for adults with the best combat system in the series

XVI is very underrated

I beat the unfinished version of FF15. Most of the side quests were boring. All the hunts felt the same. It had its fun moments tho. IMO the dialogue and characters was the best part of the game. It was a brother game. I remember the 3 magic elements were completely pointless. OST is perfect. Once you get to the train the games linear and I literally pulled an all nighter to beat the game. Yes I didn’t even sleep. I did that MGS4, FF15 and LOZ BOTW and I will never do that again because I quit gaming.

15 was one of my favorites , will always hold a special place in my heart in video games.

I agree 💯 with everything you said… including about final fantasy 15…16 is a beautiful looking game…but the gameplay is quite repetitive…the story lines can drive me insane or make me fall asleep.. and the fighting…too much going on to really understand what is hitting… what is missing and everything in between

For 25 years, I’ve asked for a final fantasy game with Devil may cry controls and gameplay that looks like the cut scenes. They finally made that game and i loved it! 10/10!

16 is worth it coning from someone who’s never really invested into Final Fantasy at all apart from FFVII Remake. But this game is really good, however don’t expect it to have an ordinary FF feel to it. As it is also from the devs of Devil May Cry and the OG FF games.

Big mistake not finishing 15 the 2nd half of the game is incredible with a great ending probably an unpopular opinion but one of my favourites in the franchise

Final Fantasy X was my favourite until I played 16 absolutely loved it. Really is worth playing.

16 was awesome. Not your typical FF game. Just enjoy it for what it is.

The whole Game of Thrones vibe feels more like set dressing to me. The Titan and Bahamut boss fights are easily the flashest, most over the top moments in the entire series, and all the dark fantasy political intrigue stuff quickly takes a back seat to your stock Final Fantasy plot of “find the crystals and kill god”. I’ve heard it described as the highest highs and lowest lows of the franchise and I agree. It boils down to how well you can bear the slower parts in between major quests, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it.

Agreed, 15 seemed dope but I just couldn’t finish it. 16 I enjoyed it. But I wouldn’t say it was the best one in the series. But i did beat it when it came out. Graphically it looks really good.
